The last time we saw Michael Westen, Burn Notice’s fired spy on a mission to clear his name, he’d just driven Sam’s Caddy out of Read the full post.

LOVE Burn Notice … have been waiting since last September for last night’s ep. The only prob I had – and it REALLY bugged me – was Sam’s Caddy coming off the trailer and Michael driving away in it … how did it get off the trailer (backwards!) w/no ramp … and NOT get damaged? (except for a broken tail-light that they didn’t show until it was back at Michael’s place). This show is too, too good for that kind of obvious goof. I re-played it twice because I was sure I missed something that showed to explain it … but no … just a ‘we cheated it’ moment.

I have been SOOOO waiting for Burn Notice to come back. It is the best thing on TV right now … well written, beautifully acted, nothing ‘generic’ or cliched (especially when it comes to the ‘spy’ stuff … you can tell they are being advised by pros). Jeffrey Donovan is a gift to this show. He says more with just a look than most could do with an entire monologue. Thank you Matt Nix !!!!

I thought the season opener was a let down…especially after the season’s one build up and finally. More BS on who burned him and why…let’s get to the point an move on. As for Fi she’s great, size and all. Just because she’s petite doesn’t mean she can’t act.

I want to be Fiona! I just love her super neurotic, gun loving ways. We know too little about Carla to even consider her as a love interest at this point. Sure she’s hot but so far her character has nothing on Fi’s.

What’s this preoccupation with looks, and not talent? If she were ten pounds heavier, I bet Gabrielle would be condemned as being too heavy. She is absolutely believable as an agent who can con and outshoot anyone. She is trying especially hard at conning herself and Michael into believing they’re just co-workers. But go no further than tension because I want this show to go on and on…. Am I the only one who feels that Mama and bro slow the pace down? So unless Mike can teach her to turn her burned coffeemaker into an explosive device…

I like Fiona, period. She’s a loyal character. If they do away with her because of fan negativity I think that is a shame.

Love Burn Notice. Glad it’s back, but the only reason I watch is because of Bruce Campbell. Jeffrey Donovan is not cute at all. My only problem with the season premiere was that there wasn’t enough of Sam. Please use Bruce more on the show! As for a Sam/Fiona hook-up, NO. Sam can do better. It would be awesome if they did a “let’s go to vegas episode with the whole cast,” cause I live there.

I LOVE Burn Notice!!! I am so glad it’s back! I hope they stay in Miami and I feel for Fiona–her broken heart and all. I also like Nate and would like it if he was in the show more. I don’t want fewer jobs for Mike & co., I love all the stuff going on in each episode. Two thumns down for a romance between Mike and Carla. He has Fiona–what does he need Carla for?!

Northeast part of the state? Whaaat? I thought it was in the Keys. It certainly looked like it was in the Keys (yes I’ve been there) and that long ass bridge that Michael drove the Caddy into, was on the Card Sound Road Bridge–heading SOUTH to the Keys.
Anyway, count me on Team Fi. She’s the perfect mate for him–and love the former IRA angle of her background–too freaking perfect.
What I can’t stand, was Michael’s fake accent in this episode–he was trying to be Dutch? Going with the Blood Diamond thing? Not good.
    Everything else about the show–excellent.

Clarification(s): ‘Not good’ was for the crappy accent.
Another priceless bit about the episode–Sharon Gless in her capri pants, cigarette hanging out of her mouth, brandishing a double barreled shotgun.
No recasting for any of the characters. They did it right the first time.

I started watching originally because I was mourning the loss of Touching Evil. I do love Burn Notice, but the season premiere did not live up to my expectations.
Love smartasses, and Burn Notice has them galore.

I do enjoy your show, the action and adventure. What I do not understand is why the female actresses are so immodest in their attire. Perhaps if you got better acting or writting you would not have to result to the low standard of peddeling flesh. I would love to continue watching your program but I guess my standards are too high and I care what happens to the morals of this life. Please take th high road and clean up this program it really was fun to watch

I am a big fan of Burn Notice from the beginning. I enjoy the three main characters. I am rooting for Fiona because–well just because. Sharon Gless wines too much.
