Oops -- wrong board! I think celestial sequins would be a great look but I agree that space fringe would be hard to resist. I just worry that it would be too medusa-esque. (Obviously, I need to find better things to worry about.)

Tuzo, your question is thrilling on so many levels. I'd have to go with a FRINGED space suit, just to see how the excess material would handle zero gravity! If there was a lunar eclipse on one side of me, and a fringed spacesuit 180 degrees opposite and I could only look at one, we all know I'd turn to the fringe.

I was a bit of a Star Wars dork in college (who else named their red corvette Red 5?) so I would def choose the rebel attack on the Death Star (from Episode IV, unless I could ride with Lando in the Falcon in the Return of the Jedi attack). Either would be way cool. Sigh, still a dork.

Annie, sometimes the obvious must be pointed out: that is a big bag of crazy that you opened up this morning! (Or perhaps a monolith of madness to fit in with the theme.)
.
But to join the party, I would go with Apollo 13. In terms of scenes, the liftoff and return to Earth are magnificent and awe inspiring. It would be incredible to be able be a part of that. Also, the walk on the moon "dream" sequences would be good too. The middle part of the film -- not so much.
.
My question back to you: if you were going to wear a space suit which type would you prefer: fringe or sequins? Each has their problems. Sequins could blind you with reflected sunlight while fringe could get in the way during space walks. I would usually go with fringe but in space I think sequins are the new black.
