Okay, my friends all think I’m super strange but I really like Amy and Ricky together, I know weird right? Anyway I totally dislike Grace’s dad. I don’t know why yet its just something there that makes me not like him. I like Molly Ringwald playing Amy’s mom and I can’t wait till she gets more screen time. Overall I really like it! Ashley, Amy’s little sis, is so funny and sarcastic she just is amazing. Can’t wait till my brother whose 7 gets out of the basement so I can watch tonights episode!

I really hope that this show does not glamorize Amy’s pregnancy in any way. So, far, so good, but her character has a lot of big moments and choices coming up that I hope are shown to be as difficult on screen as they are in real life. Being a pregnant teen is not fun, easy, or desirable and I hope that the writers show Amy’s sincere struggle through this journey.
I also think that Amy and Ricky should be together only because she might slow Ricky down, and I know how you feel about Grace’s dad they don’t give her any space so t just makes her want to seek around and do whatever. I also wish that the show was longer because I hate waiting a week, and I also recorded the whole series so I can watch it when I want, I can’t wait until Amy finally tells Ricky he’s the father. This is the best show next to Degrassi (my other weakness.) Love it.

My friend had told me to watch this show but I thought i wasn’t going to be intrested in it. Honestly though, I fell in love with it. I don’t have cable so I have to watch it online. It’s killing me because I haven’t seen episode 5. SOMEONE HELP!! Oh and I really would like to see Amy and Ricky togther at the end. I agree, Amy would help him slow down.
i heard poeple talking about this show ‘The Life Of An American Teen’ during colorguard practice one night. so the next day i went on Miley360.com and watched all 4 episodes in one day. Now i totally love this show. and ricky is totally hottttt!!!! <3.but, brian is so sweet and kind. this show is so absesive. i cannot help it anymore going to watch it again bye..

I have watched some BAD TV in my life but this show may take top honors. This show has the WORST acting, dialog, character development and cheap story lines that revolve around pretty much nothing more than sex. I have 2 teenage girls and was one myself and the lives of the American teenager is more comlex, interesting, relevant and layered than this insulting show. I heard it in the background this evening….. it made me shudder! It was apparently the “SLUT” episode because I think they used the term over 50 times in 15 minutes. The show is an insult to not only the American teenager but American television. The scary thing is : I KNOW I am in a minority…there is no accounting for the taste of the masses- but the masses deserve more than this.
