It’s been cleared up & it SHOULDN’T happen again…
Thank You for Filming & Documenting Everything- It would really help if that footage of Andy, Steve, & Richard Zapata’s Letters were being used as was intended on The Myspace to Promote The DVD Release, The Only problem being that I’m the One Who needs to Upload it…
It’s clear that You’re not aware of some of the deeper “Inner Workings” of The Marketing Plan The Event was tied too…That’s not Your Fault as these plans were made between Me, & The Film Makers Who were Witness to Us being assured that My Drummer’s Age wouldn’t be a Prob…
Like I said Plans Change, Thanx again & Plz Make that Footage Available <3
Now Let's Let Mia Rest Peacefully Plz?…Thank You (Anything Further Can Be E-Mailed to Me as this has NO BUSINESS on a Public Forum…

i enjoyed the entire night, i liked some bands better than others, but please boys no one is really concerned about all this stuff…please keep it in e-mails
we just love mia zapata & all the bands from this period…you both did a great job <3
VIVA ZAPATA
i really enjoyed grrrl friend’s set actually- totally DIY with pure raw power combined with dynamic noise…
what more could i want???
I was in attendance too and I was blown away by all the talent under one roof! The riot girl band brought back some great memories and the vigil was an emotional rollercoaster to say the least. I don’t understand how anyone could say a bad word about such a fitting tribute to Mia.
isn’t Hole’s Rock Star making fun of the riot grrrl scene, bikini kill, and diy indie rock & k records? wtf
Yes it is…IDK Either…Though Overall the Event Was a Success in The Eyes of MOST…I Think The Specifics were sorta rushed in some respects, there wasn’t a lot of Prep Time & there were some set backs in the process of arranging this event…
Hope You Understand & Are Not “Offended”…

i was at that event and i don’t know how anyone can say that it wasn’t a fitting tribute to mia. the riot grl band actually played gits songs and played them well. some people will argue if they are considered riot grl or not but it seemed to fit. it was great to hear all those songs again and everybody onstage was clearly an authentic rocker- including the grl from the makeover show. whatever the drama was it didnt seem to matter or reflect on a great night.
Good, I’m Glad You Enjoyed it…PPL’s Understandings of Riot Grrrl are all VERY Different since The Originators called for Silence with the Media back in the Early 90′s…
There’s not been a Clear Definition in any Major Media Outlets- Mia Zapata was a Great American FEMALE Singer & I’m glad you felt nothing could disturb THAT…
I started the Sisters of Revolution collective @ http://www.myspace.com/sistersofrevolution and even though the project is still in its infancy I think it proves there are loads of hard rockin grrrl bands out there who wanna come forward and get together. Watch this space x0x 0xx The Gits were a great band, many have been inspired.
Yeah after this show Grrrl Friend played some East Coas Tour Dates and a couple of shows in Our Home Towns then We moved too Portland OR…
PLEEEEENTY of “Riot Grrrl/Queercore” Out here…Infact, where have all the Riot Grrrl’s gone?!- PORTLAND OREGON That’s Where <3
