All things, as they say, must come to an end. Some, like, uh, The Love Guru, fade out fast (oof, that loss to Get Smart musta hurt). Others, like EW.com’s Summer Box Office Challenge stick around for months. But following last week’s win by "patbo236," we’ve arrived at a turning point in our little game — the first 10-week series of our summer contest has concluded (congrats to the overall winner, "Scrape"), and a new 10-week installment is starting up. Think you’ve got what it takes to win our weekly competition…and take home some free DVDs along the way? Think you can do it this coming weekend, when Wall-E will battle Wanted for box office supremacy? Just click over to the game and register your picks by Friday at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

The Love Guru
I love how when Josh, the box office “guru” makes a correct guess, he brags about it. But when he’s wildly off the mark, like with the Love Guru box office, he says “some pundits”.
So, um, why is the Box Office Challenge split up into two halves again?
I’m not saying I was going to end up winning the whole thing, but I finished lucky 13th overall for the first portion. I had a chance…assuming the 11 people ahead of me decided to take a week off.
