Here’s my take. Freedom of speech, if he offends you don’t listen, if it offends the network they will fire him. I don’t even care for the guy myself, but I don’t have to tolerate him because I don’t listen.
Did the African tribal leaders sell their own people into slavery? If the Blacks had stayed in Africa, wouldn’t they have been used and abused by their own people? Because of what your ancestors went through, you are here, you are living human beings and you have your freedom and the opportunity to do and accomplish anything that you want. Your attitude and choices are what really determine how successful you are. I’m White and I had nothing to do with your history or your issues with our collective society and I’m certainly not stopping you from being successful! My ancestors did nothing for me, they left me nothing, I didn’t get any special favors. Please quit looking at me like I owe you something.
I think that it isn’t a big deal. The only one who is making it a big deal is the media.
It’s about time “Reverend” Al went out and got a real job and quit trying to make something of nothing. What has he and “Rev” Jackson contributed to this country?
Nothing positive that’s for sure. They are always both part of the problem and never, ever the solution. They have both, particularly Sharpton, spent their lives promoting hatred. They have not advanced black peoples cause or lives, only have set them back. When they are gone, the world will be a much better place and their will be no black or white, just brothers.

I read a lot of the posts and one really stood out, “As you watch the flooding in the Midwest, have you noticed that there are no farmers running around with stolen plasma TVs or holding stolen liquor over their heads. There’s no looting or yelling “Where’s Bush?”, “Where’s FEMA?, Where’s my check?”, or “Why isn’t the Gov’t out here saving me and my farm?” I noticed no one take that one on. Hmmm…tough one isn’t it
AMEN AMEN AMEN AMEN!!!!!! Oh thank you for putting that on this board!!! Damn liberals all want the “govment” to pay their way.
Guess what? A 12 year old VT girl was on Myspace and was lured in by someone and now is missing. Here’s another shocker…..the last video tape of her showed her at a gas station with a coon. Imagine that. If your going to do these kind of things to people, do them to yourselves. Wipe out your own race…not ours. Where are you Al? Where are you Jessie? Spooks!
You know why their wasn’t people looting, jumping up and down like apes, robbing people at gun point during the Midwest floods? Because those people are civilized, honest, hardworking people with morals. Most of the population of what the mayor called “Chocolate City,” are beastly animals who take advantage of others to survive. You look at pictures of them hopping around in the streets and partying and tell me they do not come from Apes. Convince me these people do not come from apess
Yep!
Obviously DON IMUS understands that blacks get stopped and arrested more just because they are black (some say more suspicious due to their disproportionately higher rate of commission of crimes-young black males).
This is known as “black profiling.”
That was obviously what IMUS meant hearing of an American athelete (hero) getting arrested again for 6th time.
What color is he, he asked? “African-American” came the response. “oh that (meaning Racial Profiling) explains why he gets arrested so much”.
This is what many liberals and some sociologists believe … and whether IMUS shares their view or was making fun of that view, either way the comment was fine. Showed how alert he is to the racial profiling issue; he’s very astute! Sorry Al Sharpton, nothing for you to get your teeth into this time (i.e. no tv time for you on this one).
Hey there people….give Imus a break…he’s only stating his opinion…everyone has there own opinion…I really enjoy Imus…and will always support him…not everyone likes blacks and not everyone likes white’s….in life, everyone can express there opinions
