If you listen to the audio, his words and his tone do NOT convey his “message”. If he meant something more, he should have said something more. Shame on whoever put this worthless gasbag back on air.

Imus is an old school oofda just like Rush. It’s no surprise. Sharpton is a hypocrite, and Jones is a thug who’s getting special treatment because he’s a star athlete, not because of the color of his skin. All in all, nobody wins here.

I wish people would just ignore Don Imus. The more y’all talk about him, the more money he makes and the more ratings he gets. Duh!

Who cares? Seriously. All of the protestors and such should concentrate their energies on something useful (world hunger, homelessness, diseases, etc.)

Just another evidence that racism is real. Some know how to conceal it and some like Imus don’t.

Who cares? If Imus is a racist so what? If people want to listen to him, great. If they don’t, great. Should he loose his job because he is racist? Why should he? Rev. Al is probably the biggest racist biggot this planet has ever produced (remember the fake rape charges against the white guys) and he still has a job.

It’s about time to get Imus off the air for good!

Hey,Ijaz Qamar you have got to stop with the eternal pity party, the relentless sense of victimhood. Blacks in the deep south during the civil rights movement were victims, not a spoiled athlete who makes bad choices.

The real question should be, “Who gives a crap?”

Man I hate hearing about this guy. Just seeing his face makes me tick. That haircut just doesn’t work for him.

I have a question. If Eskimos were over-represented in prisons with respect to their numbers in the general population, and this data were to be published by the government, would it be racist to ask if someone who committed a crime were an Eskimo?
    And if so, why?

This thing has been overblown as usual. Seems to me he was making anyhting but a racial comment. He did mispeak whenhe sadi blacks are being gunned down every day in New York. He somhow seemed to be pointing his finger at the NYPD. Blacks do kill each other more than any other group but that is another matter that needs to be addressed by our political leaders, if you can call them leaders.

As an african-american, let me say that I really dont give a damn.
    1. He has a right to say that, no question about it.
    2. He’s encouraging a stereotype with words, when us in the black community encourage that stereotype with ACTIONS. Soo…I hope everyone can stfu about this.

I used to love Don’s show couple years back. But I think he needs to retire. Anyone who asks ‘what color is he..’ after the episode he just went through, is either stupid, past his prime, or has early onset dementia.
