I’m sure, like all newborns, little Maddie Briann is adorable, but a full head of daddy’s digits sounds ever so slightly macabre, no? (I will spare you the obvious "toehead" joke and end this ill-advised blog item right here, right now.)
Am I the only one who misinterpreted this headline?

HA! Thanks, Mr. Slezak – I needed that.
It’s also funny if you just read the first line (like I did): Jamie Lynn’s baby has full head. Or at least I find that funny.
uh, yeah Michael, you are. sorry. it’s pretty cut n’ dry.
i don’t really have anything to say here, i’m just trying to escape susman’s panegyric down below.
It says “full head of hair, daddy’s toes”. The COMMA in the middle of the sentence is meant to give pause. Did you not learn that in elementary school?
“He has my father’s eyes!”
“Gomez, take those out of his mouth!”
– Addams Family Values
I’m a little late to this party, but in headline writing, the comma is used for the word “and.” So it’s “…full head of hair and daddy’s toes.” It took me a minute to realize why this would be misinterpreted, since I automatically read headlines ‘journalism’ style.
