It’s rather blah. I’m still partial to Mercy and American Boy as my summer songs.
If I hear this song one more time I’m going to lose it. It’s horrible.
why is 60′s revival a bad thing? And someone brings up the point that Katy Perry is totally 80′s revival. I know it counts as summer, it is just an awful song.
I vote for American Boy by Estelle as well
I think this song is a fake pop remake of a popular 80s song.
If you listen to the rhythm of this song carefully, especially at the start, it sounds like Def Leopard’s “Love Bites”
And the “eh, heh, hey, walkin away now” part sounds like it comes from some other song I’ve heard before but can’t quite place it.
That Duffy song is pretty pedestrian…
This song be on youtube it’s awful
right on ‘anonymous’. good ear. Def Leppard melody steal in the bridge for sure!
The eh hey hey part sounds like the Barenaked Ladies – “Its all been done before”…the verses sound almost identical to Def Leppard’s “Love Bites”. I am surprised there are no law suits pending.
