Where have you gone, Philip Michael Thomas? A nation turns its lonely eyes to you. A quarter century later, Miami Vice is still the most stylish cop show in TV history, which is why it ranks No. 25 on our list of the Top 100 TV Series of the last 25 years in the new EW 1000 issue. For proof, watch the full "No Exit" episode, from the show’s inaugural 1984 season, guest starring an up-and-coming actor named Bruce Willis.
This is the second installment in EW.com’s selection of 10 great episodes of programs on our top 100 list. (We started yesterday with an episode of Arrested Development.) We’ll be streaming an episode from a different show every day, or you can watch the entire slate in one sitting at Hulu. The first half of the list is here; Part 2 is here.

Did I miss the Popwatch to comment on the Top 100 TV Series? LOVE a lot of the choices:
FREAKS AND GEEKS! Yes!
The Comeback
Larry Sanders
My So-Called Life
30 Rock
The Office
and the BEST, Arrested Development!
But The Real World??? 90210??? SAVED BY THE BELL??? Come on!!!!!
Why is the American Office all the way in the 80s? It’s so much better than most of the shows leading up to it’s place on your top 100. But I agree with Arrested Development. The Office and Arrested Development should have been in the top 10.
I love the list of top 100 tv series, i agree with most of it except Six Feet Under should be way higher in the list and um where is The O.C. had it not been for that show to be a success then failure alot of teenage dramas today would not be around it rebooted that genre in a beautiful way and the series of today are learning from its mistakes!
OMG WAIT I CANT TRUST ANY OF THESE LIST ANY MORE I JUST SAW THAT YA’LL HAVE “THE HILLS” THE F***ING HILLS ON THE LIST. . .OMG I CANT EVEN BELIEVE IT. . .I CANT TRUST EW ANYMORE…WOW!
This list is WAAAAYYY better than your movies list! I like this one and mostly agree with it.
Freaks and Geeks is awfully high up there for a show that only had one season. (I would make it and My So-Called Life switch places)
You guys go on about it every chance you get and yet…no “Once and Again”???????????
no ugly betty?! no veronica mars?! no chicago hope?! and the freaking Hills made it??!!??!!
Where do I comment on the “New Classic” Albums as compiled by Leah Greenblatt? You guys must have known she would blow it, but why was she charged with making this list on her own? Leah, your list is embarrassing. That being said, watch your back. Looks like these guys needed an excuse to get rid of you, and you played right into their hands. Ever hear of rock and roll, man? Sheesh.
Where on the TV list is: Cheers, The Wonder Years, Family Ties, Scrubs, and Entourage? Especially Cheers. How can you miss that one?
