Vertigo and Citizen Kane have already been mentioned… but how about the amazing classic Witness for the Prosecution?!!
It’s crazy that no one has mentioned it yet, I totally didn’t see the end coming. For shame, EW.

What about the first Saw film! That was the most shocking/jawdropping/slap in the face twist EVER! What I like best about it was the fact that it was so simple! The twist required no dialouge just visual.

I can’t believe my favorite twist ending of all time was left out of everybody’s comments! I’m definitely a fan of twist endings, and Lucky Number Slevin’s my favorite ever. “13: Game of Death” is a great one too, but in a foreign language. It’s definitely worth seeing for the hardcore thriller fan. All the Saw movies are great, and I could see Dead Silence somewhere up there (yea, I’m a Saw nerd).

Remember Body Heat? That’s got to be one of the most underrated twist endings of all time. Also Primal Fear, although I kinda saw it coming.

The Illusionist – A totally underrated movie because it came out around the time of The Prestige.
What Lies Beneath – Creepy plus twists. An excellent combination.
Arlington Road – I figured the twist out too late and yelled warnings to Jeff Bridges through my tv. My husband laughed at me.
