Who likes long speeches at awards ceremonies? Well, I do, sometimes, if the speeches are good… but never mind that! In general, they are a blight on our nation, so kudos to the Webby Awards for insisting each year that their honorees for the best in online culture must limit their "thank yous" to a strict five words. Last night, the Webbys anointed my hero Stephen Colbert as Person of the Year. (Of course they did — he’s the Person of Every Year!) He chose his five words wisely: "Me, me, me, me, me!" Indeed. Humor winner icanhascheezburger.com, meanwhile, responded the only way they know how: "We haz too webbyz? Kthxbai!!1!" Even the venerable New York Times, which triumphed in the Newspaper category, came through with a lil’ LOL of its own: "Eliot Spitzer, we thank you." (And I thank the subversive intern who no doubt wrote that line.)
Okay, this is getting way too long for a post about brevity, so I’ll turn it over to all of you. Which three current movie/TV/music/books/games/Web items made it onto your Must List this week? (And don’t worry about the five-words thing, of course, if you feel inspired to rhapsodize at further length.) Please include your e-mail addressso that we can get in touch with you in case we decide to use yoursubmission in the magazine. Deadline is 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, June 12.

One word…
KINDERTRAUMA
http://www.kindertrauma.com/
– “The Amazing Spider-Man” – 3 times a month, and better than it has been in quite some time.
– “Chuck” – Comic book miniseries based on the cult-hit NBC show starring Zachary Levi; issue 1 – featuring an original mission – hit stores this week.
– The new “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” trailer – Just released this week, the new trailer does much more to convince skeptical Star Wars fans to come see (yet another) cartoon about the events that took place between Episodes I and II than the first trailer ever did. (Something about Jabba the Hutt’s son getting kidnapped? Snore.) The link: http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809991325/video/8273357
Grant Show’s porn star mustache
Surprisingly, two of them come from BBC America;
Top Gear- Very entertaining challenges, although it might look like a fancy consumer report.
You are what you eat- Nothing more scary than this reality show. Just watch 4 episodes and you’ll be traumatized. You body will appreciate it.
The Mole- Although Anderson Cooper is not there, the challenges and mistery are the highlights of the show.
Doctor Who Cat Macros!

Okay, five words… British sci-fi captioned in lolcat.
1. The Post-Birthday World, by Lionel Shriver–Sliding Doors-esque novel which explores the “to cheat or not to cheat?” question in surprising and thought-provoking ways.
2. The return of “So You Think You Can Dance”–who will join Mary Murphy on the Hot Tamale Train this summer? YAHOOOOOOOOO!
3. Edward Norton in The Incredible Hulk–if the trailer and posters are any indication, the man is like a fine wine, just getting better with age.
Check out the Webby Award winner for best drama- The West Side. Very interesting! http://thewestside.tv/
* Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl.” Still such a catchy little tune. After two weeks of listening to it far too many times, I’m still not sick of it.
* Craig on “The Mole.” He may not be the best player, but he’s certainly the most enjoyable to watch. I really like the concept of the show, but they just didn’t find very many interesting contestants this year.
* The return of America’s Best Dance Crew. Even though I still say Kaba Modern was robbed last season (Jabbawockees were good, but I think Kaba was better), I’m happy to see it come back. I never watch any of the other dancing shows, but this one never fails to entertain me. But does anyone else remember the first commercials for it said they were bringing together all kinds of dance crews for the show? Hip hop and line dancers and cloggers and everyone you could think of? Because the show sure seems to only like their hip hop crews. I’m just saying.
Lucy Lawless’ back on BSG!
Yeah, counting BSG as 1 word.

Jason Mraz, my new ipod nano, and so you think you can dance.
Everyone must skip seeing the new ‘Indiana Jones’ movie.
Final Four revealed! Drama ensues! – regarding BSG finale(ish)
My Boys: A cast with charming chemistry. Sometimes I wish I was PJ’s friend.
Dante in SITC – neighbor lives large!
Friday Night Lights on dvd
–Madonna, Timbaland, and Justin Timberlake’s “4 Minutes”

-Summer re-runs of How I Met Your Mother

Plurk.com – it’s way more fun than Twitter and doesn’t crash like that site.
*My Must List*
1.) “Disturbia” the new Rihanna song from the rerelease of the “Good Girl Gone Bad” album. Seriously, this may be the best song she’s ever recorded (but its title isn’t going to help those rumors that she’s dating Shia Lebeouf!). Listen! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HR-7_AcNo7A
2.) “Greek” Season 1 finale. With a cast who’s quickly becoming one of the best ensemble casts on TV.
3.) “Living Lohan” WAIT… hear me out! Watch it just to count how many times Dina refers to Ali as “an artist” and how the producers have to resort to staging events like housefires to makes these people seem interesting.
Middle-age love story- BSG
1) BSG midseason finale – cylons revealed!
2) Chris Noth (SATC) – modern Cary Grant?
3) Coldplay Viva La Vida
I’d like to add my vote to the BSG love this week — in particular, Adama & Roslin’s relationship. What other show could make a romance between “Mom” & “Dad” so “Aww”-worthy? Those two get any cuter, & I’ll have to start calling them by their first names.
I adore Katy Parry right now. Her new album is fantastic.
Chrisette Michele–Love is You. Her whole album is wonderful but she came out around the time Rihanna did and their record label promoted Ri instead of this beautiful talented woman.
Jason and Elizabeth on General Hospital. When Jason grabbed Liz’s arm and the look they gave each other, oh my. They are daytime royalty. Give daytime some love!
Anderson Cooper. “Can I be your Boo”. A great night and very funny. Sad he didn’t know what Boo meant but it was still great to see him laughing.
“Swingtown” the 70s my parent’s never had (or that they hid).
Season 4 of My Life on the D-List. Watch the new season of Kathy Griffin’s hilarious reality show if only to see her open the Kathy Griffin Leadership Academy in Mexico ala Oprah.
Funny Games on DVD. This perverse home invasion thriller bombed at the box office because American audiences just don’t like it when their movies have something critical to say.
Weezer’s “Pork & Beans” music video. This hysterical video features most of your favorite internet sensations parodying themselves including Miss “some nations don’t have maps” South Carolina and Chris “leave Brittney alone” Crocker.
Mike Wilbon Pardon the Interruption
So You Think You Can Dance, of course! This season may not have any hot, shirtless, Russian ballroom dancers, but the kids seems pretty good across the board nonetheless. Especially Twitch (love the nerdy glasses he wears sometimes), Kherington (simply adorable), and Katee (I completely under-rated her).
