You might not want to play this video if your boss is within earshot (unless your boss really doesn’t mind expletives), but if you’re in a safe space, do indulge in this quick compilation of Kristen Johnston’s scenes as Sex and the City party girl Lexi Featherston. If you could embed a YouTube clip in the dictionary next to the word "tragicomic," this would be it, folks.

i was so hoping you’d post this as one of your clips! this episode really captured that whole out of sorts, so over it, bored feeling i get at times.
It’s too bad Kristen Johnston doesn’t seem to get a lot of work these days, because she’s pretty hilarious. She was very funny on 3rd Rock, I liked her in Austin Powers 2, and her Lexi Featherston is a legend. So why is it I’ve only seen her recently in “Music and Lyrics” (where she also delivered)?
Priceless!
They get me through my workday.
PS – That scene shows one of my top 5 Carrie looks ever. Her hair, the dress, perfection.
One thing’s for sure. Lexi knew how to make an exit and a big, er…splash.
Kristen Johnston was so good in this role. One of my favorite moments- especially when Stanford asks what the last words were. Awesome.
Thanks Slezak, I just read this in the episode guide issue and wanted to see how she died. I don’t have HBO and randomly catch episodes on TBS (or is it TNT) – haven’t run into this one yet.
AWESOME!
“so bored i could die” Indeed! BWAHAHHAAHAHAHHAA!!!
and almost as funny – the look on Candice Bergen’s face the day of funeral when she was being escorted by the food critic!
