I actually wanted to comment on “how to improve AI” – the best way would be, of course, to cancel the “show.” But if it must go on, then remove the age limit! There’s people well over the age of 29 who can sing way better then the brats they have on. Myself, for instance. Though canceling it – and all other “reality” shows – would be the best.
The big highlight of the evening for me was the wonderful performance by Jason Castro who deserved to sing solo and for all you Jason bashers, he went fron 103,000 to NO.4 AND BY TALENT AND TALENT ALONE AND THATS MORE THAN I CAN SAY FOR ALL OF YOU BASHERS. I believe Archie,Cook,Johns, and Carly will get record deals but I believe Jason will record deals and even alot more. Jason has the look,attitude,personality and talent that will carry him well in music and even outside of music into entertainment. I believe Syesha will go to broadway.
I agree i almost cried when Jason performaned because it had so much emotion and heartfelt into it and did so more than any other person at the finale. I think he is simplly wonderful and i thank Slezak for knowing that and being posititve toward Jason. Good luck Jason Castro and can’t wait to see you on tour and I bought all you Itunes and Watch you all the time on youtube. And by the way all you Jason bashers he made 1340 on his sat test. He is not only talented but extremely smart also. and by the way gorgeous.
I agree I was so teary eyed when Jason performaned, his really good performances like Halleuigh at the finale, Somewhere over the rainbow, i don’t wanna cry, daydream and many others are so much more memoriable than the other contestants past performance because they did not put the emotion and heartfelt into him that he did. I think his performance at the finale will forever be my favorite Idol performane of all times.

The best moment of the finale was Jason Castro with his heartfelt performance, at the finale I was so sad he did not make it but ATTENTION ALL YOU JASON FANS PLEASE READ THIS. Yesterday I personally was at the welcome home celebration for Jason in Rockwall Texas and there was around 15,000 people there to welcome him home and he is trully a remarkable person and he is happy. He sang Daydream, a song he wrote last year, Somewhere over the Rainbow and a Texas song and it was the most remarkable day of my life watching someone who deserved this get the recognition he deserved and I must personally say he is even more handsome, charming, and talented in real life. His voice is like an angel. I hope Slezak , Chris Sligh and all of Jason’s fans read this. He said there will be alot of guitar of his album and the mayor gave him a key to the city. so AI totally blows!! I would much rather watch project runway, deal or no deal, the apprentice, or nashville star. I actually am really excited for nashville star…probably because I went to one of the auditions in FL. just to watch! It was awesome!! I got to do a spot for the camera and hopefully they’ll show it monday night!! thank you nbc for not having a stupid AI with judges who can’t think for themselves!
The best performance by far was Michael Johns and Carly. Michael was the only reason I watched the final AI. Can’t wait to buy his CDs. The rest of them are just okay.
