The first time I watched the trailer for Woody Allen’s fall film, starring Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, and Javier Bardem, I wished it’d had dialogue. But then, I realized that would require me to hear Johansson’s and Cruz’s voices, so now I’m okay with the music. I’m also fine with how hot Javier looks sans "The Bardem," and I’m preparing myself for the inevitable interviews we’ll be reading asking Scarlett and Penélope about their kiss.

I love dialog-less trailers because (1) they don’t give away 90% of the plot like all other trailers do and (2) it makes the film seem way more mysterious and artsy (even if they’re not!). Let’s home this film is way more Match Point than Cassandra’s Dream!

Did they even have to pay Javier Bardem to do this movie? If I didn’t know better, I’d say he wrote the script himself.
So… basically the concept for the movie is “pretty people having sex with each other”?

Mandi, it’s so funny you mention Johansson and Cruz being mute.
I personally don’t mind Johansson’s voice, but whenever Cruz speaks English it’s like nails on a chalkboard. Don’t get me wrong, she’s absolutely beautiful, and ridiculously sexy and a talented actress in her Spanish-language movies, but her English-accented performances are kind of brutal.
I’m a huge Woody fan (did I really just say that?) and I’m looking forward to this one because of the cast. Like Paige, I’m keeping my expectations low, but I hope the move to Spain can reenergize him the same way the move to England did with “Match Point.”
One of my best friends and I fell in love with Bardem earlier this year, so after I watched this. I immediately sent her the link!. I. Am. So. There.
Lost interest halfway through. Only kept watching because of Javier.
