'Gossip Girl' recap: OMFG

Serena being a murderer definitively takes away the reality from this show. I mean, it was pretty realistic until now. But I guess -and hope- that Josh Schwartz has learned his lesson and won’t ad death to the plot without a good reason…. Because Marissa’s death in The O.C. totally killed the show. BTW I totally agree with the Nelly Yuki comment.

Remember when G drugged S at the bar? When S woke up the next morning (and missed the SATs) she didn’t remember anything from the night before.
I think back in S’s partying days, they were out partying, G drugged S, G killed someone then framed S. S can’t remember what happened… so she believes G. Or no one died and G just convinced S that someone did. We’ll have to see if there are any flashback scenes showing an actual body.
She didn’t kill G. They have been numerous reports that the actress playing G will be on several more episodes.
I don’t like Dan. I hope they write him off. I think Dan & his father are either awful actors or unbelievable characters. I like Jenny. I think she is believable. She is a confused and looking for an identity. She’s self-centered & greedy… she’s a teenage girl.
One more thing.. I think Chuck is gay too. That’s why Eric confided in him.

Gossip Girl and the word “clever” should never be used in the same sentence! This has got to be the worst show ever, as evidenced by the worst ratings on t.v. (2.1 million).

Omgaaah…I never that S wud ever kill someoneeee. =o and G is reallyyy getting on my nerves. She’s making S’s life miserable. She givesss the show an evil touch tho. That’s the only thinggg that saves her. And Lil J wass great. Bessst she’s ever done. && asher was a pain in the asss. What’s wrong with being gayyyy? Come on dood ‘fess up! I did miss nate and chuckkk tho. Can’t wait til mondayyy suckassss.

Eric is a great character, and I’m glad they are giving him a storyline he disappeared for a while, and that sucks. (though it was pretty obvious from the beginning that he was gay).
But I think your prediction of the whole “murder” thing is wrong. I think Georgina is just as messed up by this whole thing…it really showed it in the episode before this one, where she wouldn’t even let Serena talk about it. All she wants is for “things to go back to the way they were” She has a few humanizing moments. Also, I don’t think the video has anything to do with that or with Nate. I think it is from that night where G drugged S. G brought a guy back who had sex with S while G taped it so she would have something to blackmail S with. It is also foreshadowed in the preview when Dan says “you slept with him!?”
I hope this killing thing doesn’t last very long…it is a little over dramatic.

Outstanding Episode! In the final scene btw the song playing as S’s bomb was dropped was U.R.A. Fever by the Kills. Well placed! Also really watch Meester’s face she is an excellent actress!
