For those who haven’t seen it, I do highly recommend “This is England”. It talks about the skinhead subculture in a realistic and respectable manner, and also shows how easy it is for right wing opportunists to turn relatively respectable young men into violent Nazi thugs. The soundtrack (featuring tracks from Toots and the Maytals) is also worth checking out too.

Once Upon a Time in the Midlands in one of my favorite films. I love how he uses Rhys Ifans to play more than the wierdo. And all the western refs are tops. Yay! Thanks for the interview.
