Brooke and Everyone knew that she was going home. Hooray. 2 all those who think Brooke will be successful; she will not be b/c she’s whiny and obnoxious and arrogant. Once again she was annoying and boring so there u have she is gone. She may be selling stuff in ITUNES but eventually her popularity just like most of the other idols anyway so that’s that. I am so happy she’s gone.

Jason yawned because he had been seriously ill that week with a temp of 104 and needed iv fluids betweent he show and rehearsal.He had what amounted to walking pneumonia. But unlike other contestants who when sick seek headlines, Jason asked that it be kept quiet because he didn’t want sympathy votes. Word from peeps in the know.

To Lisalisa, who said: “Anyone notice that when Natasha B. said she wanted to go to David that it was David Cook who stood up?” I noticed that, too. I’m a DC fan, so I felt really embarrassed for him, but Adam B. Vary missed that detail altogether.
Also Missed by Adam: As Brooke sang her farewell song, someone off-camera caught Cook’s eye, probably signaling him to comfort her or do something for the poor sobbing girl. All he could think to do was nudge her from behind, but it looked like he pushed her forward a bit. It cracked me up…kind of awkward, but sweetly funny.
Love that David Cook to pieces.

Wednesday night’s show was sooo lame. I can’t believe they took time to show off a stupid Coke cup, promote Nigel’s lame dance show, and have us listen as Simon reconnects with his first crush, yet they did not make the time to fully address the big PRODUCER f***up on Tuesday night’s show. I know Jason and us, the viewing audience deserved a better explanation…but, there wasn’t one was there? Paula did mess up but she should not be taking all the blame. Nigel….where are you?

Rich, who will function as a judge and mentor on Nashville Star, as well as produce the album of the NS winner, said he was especially upset when Paula Abdul commented Tuesday night on Jason Castro’s second song before the dreadlocked contestant had actually sung it. “Why don’t you just walk up on stage and slap them right across the face while you’re at it?” Rich said. “It’s not a problem of [a judge] being tough on somebody. You’ve got to be tough on people and be honest with them. But you’ve got to respect these people. This is their entire life hanging by a thread….I’m sure [Paula] is a fine lady, but I thought that was a very, very disrespectful thing.”
