I am way sadder to say good-bye to the awesome robot montages than to KLK. Come to think of it, those vignettes could probably sell a Ford Focus or two. . .
I am sooo sad that Kristy Lee is leaving. I loved her during her audition then hated her in the semifinals then slowly began to love her again during the finals. Love her to death now, not because of her voice of course but because of her attitude. I’m really gonna miss her. And the robot too!
I agree with Deneen… I’ll miss the robotic montages. Of course I’m more into seeing Little David go. I’m sick of him and his “cute-ness” and I think that the reference to the Gremlin movies was fitting… the CUTE part, before they go nuts. He’s a one trick pony, and he needs to go… now. (Or Brooke.) I’ve been a Brooke Fan for a while now, but she’s getting to maternal or “nanny-ish” with her constant blabbering… someone needs to tell her to tone it down or shush up. Just accept the critiques and opinions, and let it go without commentary. Syesha and that baby cry are next to go in my book. She just needs to quit picking Whitney songs. Get a grip. You are not her! Jason, he’s cool… does Dylan proud, but needs to stop acting like he’s stoned… if he wants the votes of those who are over high school age, and not raised in Hippyville, USA. Carly, she’s good, but isn’t going to make it all the way. She’s too invested in winning, and shows desperation too easily.
What is this movie that has been sampled in “Idolatry?” I hope KLC stops by the cubicles and we get her reaction to the montages. Y’all need to win somekind of e-media award for this.
i’m worried about carly too. i’m really rooting for her. hope she chooses the right ALW song (although, i will admit, as a theater gay, even i can’t stand ALW). still, i think carly has more talent than syesha, brooke, and jason castro put together. a david cook and carly finale would be my dream as well. though we’d be fooling ourselves if we didn’t think david a was going to take it all. ugh! here we go again. another BORING AI winner, right up there with j sparks….
Thank God KLC is gone!!!!I am with the others though….I will miss the robot(way more that Kristy)! It’s obvious who is the most talented this season…David Cook…it’s obvious who will win….David A and that’s just plain sad…That’s ok though….David Cook will do much better with his career if he finishes 2nd….Carly deserves the number 3 spot….and America will you please vote off Syesha already! So sad KFC (oops, KLC) is gone…girlfriend had some minor talent and she didn’t seem to take herself too seriously (are you listening Carly and Syeshia?). I’ll actually miss her a tiny little bit.

Awww. I will miss Kristy Lee too. And the awesome Idolatries on her. I always hoped that the MechaGodzilla eventually would maul that Ewok David A. Oh, and for those who call her talentless, try to google up “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” (German Idol) clips – if you dare. Compared to the so-called ‘talent’ there, beloved Kristy is Whitney Houston and Madonna combined, with The Rolling Stones at the instruments and the Harlem Gospel Choir as background singers.
You know, during the robot tribute, I was really enjoying her singing of “Forever”. She has more talent that some of the past contestants who had “overstayed their welcome” (Haley, Scott Savo, Jasmine). She was also one of the better dressers (although I thought everyone looked better last week). Thanks for the memories, KLC, and thanks Idolatry for the wonderful entertainment.

Slezak – I love these vids more than is reasonable. And Darn You, KLC! You made me love you, too. Gotta say, I even like Brook sticking up for her best pal (KLC) or herself or whoever. And loved DC sitting down next to DA, big brother style. Love it when these guys show a mind of their own – wish they’d do it more often, especially in support of each other. (hint: and you can, guys – IT’S LIVE TV! Don’t let Seacrest & Co bamboozle you!)
Archuelta is akward, but his voice more than makes up for it. If you look at Josh Groban, he is akward also, does not move around at all. No one seems to mind that. Give the kid a break, he will have many people around him to develop him, it is actually refreshing !! Cook can be a real superstar and hope to see him and Archie down to the last two.

Slezak there are tears rolling down my cheeks because i was laughing so hard. The one bad result of Kristy leaving AI is that there will be no more Godzilla…sigh.
I was not surprised when Kristy was cast off. She was improving but her performance still felt a bit artificioal. Mercardo will probably go home on Wednesday, however, Webber might be a challenge for Castro. I mean is he going to fight with Archuletta for “Any Dream Will Do” from “Joseph”? Castros choice for songs is going to be limited unless he can hit the high notes on “Music of the Night”.
Look, I enjoy JC’s music, but let’s face it – he doesn’t go for the powerful ending because he CAN’T. He doesn’t have that sort of vocal power. He always seems like he’s stretching to get through a song. I’m always on the edge of my seat, just wanting him to find the next note, especially when he attempts falsetto mode…
David A has a great voice…no doubt about that…but…that’s all he has. David Cook is a total package…a real ARTIST…why r all of you people so in love with David A? I just don’t get it! David Cook rocks!
What’s with all the Brooke hating!! She’s my personal favorite and I think she’s a totally genuine person that stood up for Kristy when everyone pretty much dismissed her at the end of the eliminaton episode. ADD to that this question for all the Carly supporters — DIDN’T YOU FIND IT CURIOUS THAT SYESHA, KRISTY AND BROOKE WERE ROOMMATES AND NOBODY STAYED WITH CARLY? Am I the only one that finds Carly to be totally unlikeable?!?!

Re any regrets towards KLC’s departure, I remind myself of her singing in the YouTube vid with the confederate flag behind her. Either she’s unconscious of how deeply hurtful and racist that is to an entire segment of the population, or she’s conscious of it and racist. Either way, not something I’d want to support.
Didn’t care much for Kristy (though her “sing off’ was pretty impressive), but I will so miss the robot storyline on idolatry. Who ever directed it should be working at some major Hollywood studio.
Archuleta or Cook are the choices for me. Instead of bashing DA, what in the world does anyone see or hear in Jason Castro ??? His voice is weak and he has no personality at all.
Bet you’ll hear her on country radio sometime soon.
