Well, Michael should fly down under and become the Australian Idol, the Aussies could use a star like him to make ammends for Yahoo Serious. Just kidding. I was surprised he was eliminated, i think there is some credence to Ryan’s theory that his fans assumed he was safe. Hmmm, well, i’m sure we will be hearing more from Michael Johns. Johns was robbed – his fans have been screaming about busy voting lines since the start of the voting period so it’s no wonder he dropped off the show. It’s too early for complacency and vote splitting to play a part and he polled 3rd going in with a good performance… anyway he’s getting all the attention now (even on the show, which has since pulled the worst ratings in over 5 years) so we’ll see who has the last laugh eh…
His voice is like budda. I look forward to what his first single will sound like on the airwaves.

I liked the nickname he gave himself “Papa Johns”. Out of the current Idol crowd, he’s the only one who’s record I would buy. Can we hope his album features a duet with Carly Smithson?
I’m really hoping the man gets a decent deal and some good production. A few cameos won’t hurt either, as this is one of the few Idols who IMHO has the potential to be a real star.
