I dont understand why there moving it to lifetime. that makes no sense, lifetime is not a channel for this show. mtv or vh1 makes way more sense. i love project runway, so i’ll still watch it, but i dont understand, why lifetime?

I wouldn’t watch it on Lifetime. As a female…I think that station stinks. I never check it because I feel it depicts women as weak and men as our predators. I love Project Runway…but not enough to search for it on the garbage network.

In this case I hope the lawyers can block PR from leaving BRAVO. Lifetime…I won’t rule it that it will still be a hit, but why Lifetime…i could see more on MTV or VH1 espeically since they do fashion rocks…..I’m confused on that one. Then again maybe it will be Lifetime that opens up to a wider demographic…in that case ok…if not, i’m confused.

I do not get Lifetime in my cable package, only BRAVO. Although I have watched faithfully, I will not be paying to increase my cable just to watch the next season of PR.

Just another example of NBC Universal failing to hold onto its strengths. How does a network go from so high to so low in so few years? By allowing idiot things like this to happen. At least USA is still going strong, but you have to wonder…

The move to Lifetime is sad … if it really happens. (NBC is PISSED[!], so their lawyers may find a way to block the move.)
And just for the record, outside of LOGO, Bravo is easily the gayest channel of them all … which is why it’s the perfect home for PR.

The thing about Project Runway is that the BRAVO brand, with its “watch what happens” and it’s classy designs really augmented the show’s credibility. Then we have lifetime, where the show will inevitably air next to some old Yasmine Bleeth damnsel in distress movie. Yeah, doesn’t sound the same. Bravo still has the best TV reality show out there, TOP CHEF. and out of this debacle they can create a fashion show called SEW ME, in which fashion designers take people to court for just being a big fashion hot mess.
