Your weekend trip (acid sold separately)

Bjork_lIf you missed it this week (or even if you didn’t), be sure to watch the video for "Wanderlust," a single from Björk’s 2007 album Volta, under the influence of something. Then fall into a reckless dream in which Björk, Grendel’s mother, Goat Boy from Where the Wild Things Are, and Mr. Tumnus the Faun treat you to a Very Scary Unbirthday tea party just before nudging you off the edge of a waterfall. As usual, you’ll wake up once you realize you’re underwater but still breathing.

I’d also like to offer some exclusive casting scoop: This thing was one of our America’s Next Top Doll rejects. It’s true, y’all!

Well, while Wanderlust may have been rejected as a contestant on ANTD, there is always room for a guest judge or maybe even a representative from a major label, makeup company, etc.

Was the ANTD reject going to fill in the role of “plus size” doll?
And I’ve got a ton of figures to send in as potential candidates for ANTD season 2. Where can I send them?

Bjork makes strange video: shocker! as much as i am impressed with Bjork’s visual taste, her musical style has bored me post-homogenic. the only song off of Volta that doesnt put me to sleep is “innocence” and i KNOW thats because of timbaland.

  • nathan

I hear it’s been banned in China.

Why does everyone who has posted seem so indifferent?? I thought that video was incredible!

geez, paige, what a debbie downer. if you have a problem with björk, you must have a problem with every musician and artist out there.

i like the one where the bear eats her…

No matter what your opinons of Bjork might be (I happen to love her and have been gobbling up everything since the Sugarcubes days) she continues to make incredible videos. Stuff like this just puts everybody else to shame.

Maybe she was inspired by “Into the Wild.” I love the video, but the song, not so much. I think Bjork is incredibly interesting, but haven’t enjoyed much of her music since Vespertine.
