  • whaden

    Summer Glau rocks!

  • Josh

    Made my Friday.

  • escargot

Yeah, Firefly! (Just did the excited fist pump in the air, now completely embarrassed.) Keep ‘em coming, Marc. Oh, and I second the Wonderfalls Wednesdays.

  • Kathleen

Mmmm. Your offering pleases Kathleen. And I third the Wonderfalls Wednesday.

  • LisaMama

This is awesome! I actually own the box set, because it was on sale at some ridiculously low rate. I thought the price tag was a joke, because the show is so great. I’m hoping that the low price enticed some new fans of the show, as I’m sure this clip will. thanks!

  • MGM

    Loving Firefly Fridays!!

  • Molly

As an old fan of Firefly and a brand-new addict of Wonderfalls, I am fully in support of both days :)

  • Smokey

This just makes me feel all shiney.

  • Capt. Tightpants

What an awesome show. Too bad the morons at Fox totally ruined it. Everyone must get drunk tonight and watch Firefly on DVD.

  • Amy

I’m all for promoting Firefly, but isn’t is possible to watch the eps in the order they were intended to be watched? In that case, Train Job is ep 2.

  • Nat X

We are all agreed. This is a good idea and must continue.

  • EL FRANCO

When I watched Firefly the first time when it was on Fox this was the scene that finally made me a fan and fellow Browncoat from then on.
Thank you Joss Whedon and thank you EW for showing to newcomers out there the best parts of one of the best TV show that could have been.

  • Julie

Oh this is too awesome. Loooove Firefly and Serenity. Summer Glau is great (she’s the only reason I watched the Sarah Chronicle Terminator show) and Nathan Fillion is so so hot. Give him a decent show or movie already!

  • Nick

    YES!!!!!!!!!
    Rock on. Great idea.

  • C

Yay! Thank you!! But why The Train Job first? What are you… Fox?

  • RedCochina

Thank you EW for recognizing the genius of Joss. Can’t wait for Dollhouse!

  • History

This is great. Slow afternoon at the office just got a lift. Thank you. G-d, I love this show.

  • Sandy

Fabulous idea! A little bit o’ “Captain Tightpants” in the afternoon…. : )

  • annie

I have, since Sunday the 30th, watched all 14 episodes on hulu, and rented Serenity and watched it. OMG!! It is fabulous! For a big Buffy and Angel fan, I had never watched Firefly for some reason. But now I have – and am addicted!

  • peggy

thank you very much for keeping the dream alive. i will definately be tuning in every week…..

Responding to “C”’s comment, greatest comment ever!!!

  • Cordrone

What an excellent notion! I’ll be checking every Friday for your clip pick and every Saturday at 8 PM (Eastern) I’ll be watching the show again in high definition on the Universal HD Channel.
The real question is when will Serenity 2 be coming “soon” to a theater near us?
    Peace,
    - Cord

  • Ben

I experienced Firefly on DVD. I actually thought 13 episodes was a perfect length for it. Blasphemy? “Objects in Space” made a great finale, and, for Season 2, you can’t get much than “Serenity”.
