Regular PopWatch readers know I’m a fan of Reaper, the clever supernatural adventure comedy series about a big-box-store peon named Sam (Bret Harrison) who learns that his parents have sold his soul to the Devil (charming backslapper Ray Wise, pictured), who enlists Sam as a demonic bounty hunter, charging him with returning escaped souls to hell. The show is so funny and clever that I might have put it on my Must List anyway, even if I weren’t trying to get more people to see it so that the CW would take it off the bubble and renew it for a second season. (Note to the CW: Moving the series to Tuesdays is only going to hasten this show’s untimely demise. You don’t really want to mess with the Devil and incur his wrath, do you?)
How about you, PopWatchers? Which current TV shows/movies/music/books/games/websites make your Must List this week? In the comments below, list up to three, and include your e-mail address so we can contact you if we decide to use your submission in the magazine. Deadline is tomorrow, Thursday, March 27, at 10 a.m. ET.

I loved Reaper before the strike, but now it comes on the same time as Lost! Why CW? Why?!
Definitely Miss Guided!
cutewithchris.com because i love puppies and kittens…and people that make fun of them. He just announced he’s doing a live show in Toronto that’s already sold out.
How I Met Your Mother! This show is consistently legendary!
Lost is a MUST!!! 24 would be but sadly it’s not on. boo! Top Chef certainly! Love Ted Allen & Anthony Bourdain when they are the guest judges! & (& i can’t believe I’m still watching this show!) Survivor! I’m still watching it & still reading Dalton’s recaps (which are ALWAYS super clever & funny!). When all my shows come back the list will be slightly different but Lost will still top the list!

How I Met Your Mother is easily on the top of my Must List – it’s consistently original and funny, meaning that it’s legen…wait for it…dary! (at least in my opinion)
Others: Reaper, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern
Veronica Mars – All Three Seasons. Even though the fools at the CW cancelled this brilliant show, Veronica, Logan, Mac, and the gang are, and always will be at the top of Must List.
Oh, and so is How I Met Your Mother. I discovered this show this year and LOVE IT!
Dancing With the Stars and The Biggest Loser. There is just something about d-listers dancing and fatties backstabbing each other for the chance at money…
TV: Miss Guided, How I Met Your Mother, Lost, Big Bang Theory, New Adventures of Old Christine, and Greek.
Books: Twilight
DVDs: I’m getting Revolver (Guy Ritchie) in the mail tomorrow. yayy
Minnie Driver on The Riches. Not only does she nail the deep-seated fears of her character, but she finally got the Southern accent down.
Santogold’s EP, which sounds like a side project MIA made with Tegan and Sara.
and….I’m a sucker for Greek.
Gary – I think you mean moving Reaper to Thursdays is going to hasten its demise. It just recently moved from Tuesdays.
As for a must list, I’m still stuck on Vampire Weekend, I think Idol fans would hate themselves less if they were watching Beauty and the Geek, and I share a big love for HIMYM.
1) 4 Minutes by Madonna & Justin Timberlake: The chorus “Time is Waiting. . We only got four minutes to save the world” is pretty much the catchiest thing I’ve heard in awhile. . actually, since Sexyback. Damn you Justin Timberlake and your addictive songs!
With that being said, my Must for this week is Madonna, I can’t wait for her new Hard Candy Album. Once again she proves herself to be the Queen of reinvention.
As for DVD:
Bonnie & Clyde: Ultimate Collectors Edition
For me, the ultimate gangster film, and top love story all rolled into one provocative, brilliant film. Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway are stunning, and have nothing less then intense chemistry.
Music: Snoop Dogg’s “Sensual Seduction” remix featuring Robyn. One the 90’s first pop-tarts does a 180 and the result is awesomeness.
Movies: I know I’m late but “No Country for Old Men” on DVD. I now understand the hype…the movie? Well, let’s say that it more than DESERVES a few more viewings.
TV: “Throwdown with Bobby Flay”. The man can cook everything and do it well. Damn him and his culinary skills!
– ‘Secret Invasion’ – Brian Michael Bendis and Leinil Yu’s ambitious miniseries hits newsstands April 2, but a number of related tie-ins are available now.
– “My Name Is Earl” returns – Jeff Zucker, Paris Hilton, and Alyssa Milano guest star on the one-hour midseason premiere April 3, followed by the return of “30 Rock”, “Scrubs” and “The Office” the following Thursday. Comedy Night Done Right, indeed.
– “The Soup” – regular EW.com readers have already expressed their opinion that if they were to only have five cable channels, E! would be one of them, only for the comedic stylings of Joel McHale, who just last week was kind enough to take part in an EW.com interview. Make his (and Lou’s) day and give McHale his chance to shine in the pages of the mighty ML.
Degrassi! It’s Canadian, incredibly addictive and awesome. The storylines are usually outrageous; they’ve covered everything from pregnancy and abortion to drugs and rape. I’m obsessed with the characters and their stories and I tell everyone I know to watch the show.
&&
Greek on ABC Family. I only just found this show when I started watching the first season just to see if it was any good: I finished all 10 episodes that night. The characters and situations are always funny and Cappie is one of my favorite characters on tv right now. His speeches and conversations are full of pop culture references and his character is the best part of the show.
- The other amazing CW supernatural show… Supernatural. The boys look amazing. The car looks amazing. And even though this season is currently on post-Writer’s Strike hiatus, the plot is looking amazing.
- Indie music OTHER than Vampire Weekend. Enough, I say! They’re taking over the blogs! Try some Seabear or Band of Horses! Sure, their albums came out a while ago, but I don’t feel they had enough exposure.
Hulu.com—I love the old SNL clips from the 70’s: Belushi’s “Samurai Delicatessen,” Akroyd’s “French Chef,” etc.
Also Laurence Fishburne’s supporting role as a casino enforcer in “21.” (Do they really kick your a– like that if you’re caught counting cards?)
And… an iTunes freebie that’s almost as funny as Buffet’s “Why Don’t We Get Drunk?” It’s “She Left Me for Jesus” by Hayes Carll.

It’s on hiatus right now, but I’m addicted to Psych on the USA network. The Shawn and Gus characters have such comedic chemistry I almost pee myself just looking at them in scene together. Plus, they consistently make jokes about pineapples hilarious.
Aliens in America has totally charmed its way into my heart. It is a funny, sweet, realistic portrait of a mid-western family who has brought in a Muslim exchange student. Particularly the recent episode in which Justin stars as Roger in Rent opposite his mother as Mimi. But possibly my favorite moment so far was in that same episode when Raja and Claire connected.
I love this show and hope that there is someway it will be saved at the CW.
Top Chef: Chicago
Padma and company return for another season of hijinks
—In Treatment on HBO. But I watch them one patient at a time in sequence thanks to HBO On Demand.
—The Riches: I’m so glad this show is back. And Minne Driver is fabulous.
–Hulu: The first season of Friday Night Lights. I need to catch up.
Battlestar Galactica of course. And soon Dr. Who returns. Also agree about The Riches, Reaper and Aliens in America. I’d add The Office, 30 Rock and My Name is Earl to that list.
As far as music, Shawn Mullins’, Mike Douherty’s and The Waifs new albums.
The new episodes of The Hills. I don’t care how unrealistic this reality show is; all I know is it is damn entertaining.
I’m going to throw some theater into the mix:
“Passing Strange”, it’s on broadway now. It’s an amazing musical memoir following the life of STEW, a musician raised in the black church in South Central LA–who was more interested in punk and rock music. He travels to Amsterdam and Berlin to find himself. I’ve seen many, many a show in my life, but nothing affected me the way this show did. Go see it. The performances are amazing! Rush tickets are sold on the morning of the show for 26 bucks, so you have no more excuses. GO!
-The new B-52’s album Funplex, especially the title track and “Juliet of the Spirits”. They haven’t lost their stuff and it fills me with glitter joy, hot pink happiness and an intense need to dance.
-The L Word. I hate to admit it, but season five was actually pretty good. I still haven’t forgiven Ilene Chaiken for season three, but I’ve lost that intense need to rant when the show is mentioned.
-Garfield Minus Garfield. (http://garfieldminusgarfield.tumblr.com/)
It’s funny and oddly tragic at the same time.
-Top Chef. That show keeps me entertained.
-The Way That I Love You by Ashanti
-New Danity Kane album. That CD is fire for me.
-The Other Boelyn Girl. I love this book.
-All 7 seasons of Gilmore Girls on DVD. I miss this dearly departed show. I’m glad that I can go back to Stars Hollow whenever I want to.
I totally agree with you about Reaper..it is my favorite show, and I really hope the CW keeps it!
