I’ve enjoyed Jason Segel on Freaks and Geeks and How I Met Your Mother, but it wasn’t until this morning, when I read in Variety that he’s co-writing a new Muppet movie, that I "liked him." That’s just cool. The kind of cool that’s even cooler because it’s kinda not cool. If you know what I mean.
According to the article, Segel originally hooked up with the Henson folks when they custom-made puppets for his upcoming film, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, costarring Kristen Bell: "Segel’s character writes a Dracula musical performed by puppets." Sure. Why not.
No word yet on his Muppet movie plot. What kind of trouble should Miss Piggy get herself into?
Oh. My. God. That’s amazing. I’ve had a crush on Mr. Segal since Freaks and Geeks, and it’s only grown with time. Now he’s officially on my Celebrity Dream Man Top 5, with a bullet.
Weirdly enough, I had a dream last night that I was pregnant and he was the father. Incidentally, he was very sweet and supportive.
Whoa now – Muppet movies are the *definition* of cool. But yeah Jason Segal is pretty awesome. Anyone who can make Nick Andopolis appear to be more than a pathetic pothead deserves some snaps.
Although still devastated over the cancellation of Freaks and Geeks I am stoked to see them finding success in other projects.
I hope its better than the recent Looney Tunes flicks.

how about a movie centered around animal? i always thought he was deeply misunderstood. or maybe the muppets can go see avenue q? i’d love to see some west side story like fight!
I think Miss Piggy would be all about the plastic surgery by now. How about a little Nip/Tuck/Muppet action?
