Hey Guys! I’ve been in SoCal for the past week soaking up the nice weather, but I finally got back to the East Coast! So glad Slezak is championing Miss Murphy AGAIN, but Martha hate to disappoint you, but if you want this sweet gem, you’re going to have to go to a local Virgin Megastore & pick up Roison’s cd, “OVERPOWERED”, as its not available on iTunes since its not been released in the U.S.! My fave track on the cd is still “LET ME KNOW”, but who knows perhaps some major U.S. label will try & break her here since “Sing It Back” with her band Moloko is recognizable on sattelite dance radio? Capitol issued an actual American single release for the Kylie Minogue track, “ALL I SEE” from her new album “X” on iTunes yesterday, which they’re committing to break as a single here in the U.S. And also, Craig David’s new single, “Hot Stuff (Let’s Dance)” that was huge over in the U.K. this Fall is also seeing a stateside release! Its an all new British Invasion! I feel like its 2000 again!
Brilliant! I can make references to Cindy Sherman, Pedro Almodovar and Hitchcock. What an amazing concept. She could have easily gone with the tired club scene but chose to express her music in an abstract way. Great recommendation!
