I feel that the Death Of Superman story is too much to “jump” into, i mean, you don’t eat candy BEFORE dinner. The kid becomming superboy prime-ish, bizarro, or conner kent COULD work. Brainiac seems to make the most sense as the head villain, but as “goons” there could be the future foes, mongul, lobo, or metallo. Give kal-el the costume from the current comics, complete with the hanging cape. Lex could work in conjunction with the villains in order to gain the presidency or simply a good name by posing as their prime opposition in public view. whatever major battle that takes place in the climax of this movie should awaken/release Doomsday, just as clark and lois are finally together and happy again.
Hey, ive got an idea lets have superman lift another island made of kryptonite into space, bc that makes sense and all, its not like thats his weakness or anything, oh wait yes it is. I wonder if brandon routh, kevin spacey, and kate bosworthless are even gonna read the script b4 agreeing to work with the moron director. Bryan singer couldnt direct traffic but were letting him destroy a classic……again. This is what i want 1. Bryan singer to stop directing 2. In the next superman movie, i want to see lexcorp. Quit puttin lex as some undergound thug. Hes rich, he needs to b the guy pullin the strings of the bad guy and making him try to kill superman so he doesmt get his own hands dirty. 3. No more daily planet, you should spend mayb a grand total of 10 min at the daily planet. Superman returns felt like clark kent goes back to work and oh yea he flies every now and then. I seriously think brian singer is an idiot. He needs to pick up a comic book. Try superman birthright

I DON’T GET IT!!! Why does everyone hate the idea of Superman having a son so bad? I mean what’s wrong with it. I thought it added to the movie rather than take away from it. I mean, now not only do we get to watch one of the gretest super heroes of all time fight evil and save the world, but now he gets to do it while trying to be a dad along with it. I thought it would be kind of neat to see him help his son grow up, and pluse, superman doesn’t have to be alone anymore when it comes to having someone around just like him. Everyone is so bent on seeing this kid get his head ripped off in a future film and seeing superman go darker b/ of it. I’m all for big action and suspence, and even haveing superman go darker in a sence of him being more protective of his family, but not becuse of someone he cares about dying. I mean would it really kill poeple to have a happy ending with superman and his family, HIS WHOLE FAMILY? I mean am I totally wrong here or does someone else agree with me?
I loved it! I thought that using all the elements of the old films helped those of us who have grown up with Superman reconnect and introduce that to our children! If that had changed, I would have been highly disappointed. Brandon Routh was perfect! Can’t wait for the sequel!
bryan singer i think you did a phenominal job resurecting superman. i was so happy to see superman back in the theatre. Brandon Routh was great as superman and i would like to see superman fight metallo or doomsday. keep up the good work.
o.k. i have a lot of tolerance for comic movies,( with the exception of the george clooney batman one ) but superman returns was not totally bad although superman feeling sorry for himself is cool as a comic story ,is seems emasculating in a movie…should be some space action, possibly having superman fight doomsday on acropolis or bringing in metallo, more action, more perilous situations where clark has to act as superman , without the costume..
Superman returns(2006) would have been successfull in theatres if they had a really good story and a beautifull lois lane.Bryan singer is gay so appreciating beautifull women is not his department.Kate bosworth doesn`t look good as lois lane and you can`t understand why clark kent/superman is in love with her.Katie holm`s would have been better or some other tall beautifull actress.
