The trailer for Angelina Jolie’s latest, Wanted (opening June 27), has what I like to affectionately call "The Giggle Factor." You know what I mean — when you’re watching a movie or a TV show or an American Idol performance, and something so over-the-top awesome/ridiculous happens that you cannot suppress the urge to bust out laughing.
For me, the Wanted trailer can be broken down into a mathematical equation:That opening sequence with Angelina Jolie’s car skidding into/picking up a bewildered James McAvoy + the "bullet rustles Angie’s tresses" shot + the artsy slabs of meat = Uncontrollable giggling.
And yes, of course I’m going to go see it! What about you?

I’ll only see it for A. James McAvoy and B. the fact that a friend of mine is one of Angelina’s stunt doubles in the film.
This is exactly what is wrong with Hollywood. The premise is beyond the pale. “Curve a bullet?” yeah–whatever. If you ask me, going to see this movie you deserve what you get. That is–two hours of your life you will never get back.
I watched the trailer without volume. Hilarious.
A little Matrix, hmmmm? Seems to be borrowing a lot from the Matrix movies….I sure hope this a winner for Angie, because the way she’s having babies and traveling around the world, she needs the $$$$…..and is she only one working of that duo? I hardly see where Pitt is in anything. She’s made like 3 movies in the past year to his one….hmm….who’s the wage earner in that relationship?
Did anyone else get a Chuck vibe at the begining of the trailer?

how about the part where she lays back on her knees as the train goes in the tunnel? my legs would’ve snapped off, so that was amazing to me. i’m dying to see it. i miss bad ass angie.

RE: James McAvoy — he hasn’t played any Americans that I know of…he was in the Last King of Scotland and Atonement and some other British films…and what’s wrong with playing Americans? He wants to break into the American market where there’s more $$$ to be made…he’s dreamy…I love him as an actor. He’s where Colin should have been.

I agree that he’s a fantastic actor and he’s great in whatever he does, but I just want to hear his accent. He played an American in Penelope (which didn’t really make sense because most of the other actors were British and didn’t change their accents). There’s nothing wrong with wanting to break the American market, but he can play a Scot living in this country.

I have a serious Girl-crush on Angelina, so of course me and my hubby will be going to see it. Hey, it can’t be any worse than Lara Croft or Mr. & Mrs. Smith, right? Can’t help it, I love to watch her kick a$$ and take names!

Listen Morgan Freeman’s in it so I’ll be there. Angie and James are totally bonus points. Plus I was in Chicago when they filmed it. A good mindless action film with great actors is nice after all the arthouse drama of Oscar season.

It has that fantastically bad movie vibe to it…like Lara Croft. James McAvoy is in it, my girl-crush Angie is in…my secret fantasy lover (it’s his voice) Morgan Freeman is in… Yep, I’ll be there!
The giggle moment for me was at the end, when A.J. fires a bullet that says “Goodbye” on the side. James McAvoy does look pretty hot without a shirt, though.
I don’t think the Jolie-Pitt family is exactly living paycheck to paycheck…

I would watch anything with Ms. Jolie in it, who is also my girl crush. I even rented Beowulf this past weekend even though I’m not big on that kind of flick just to see all 10 mins. of la bella Angelina. My hubby’s tongue was on the floor. Love her.

Doesn’t it look like something Michael Bay should have made? It’s all shiny and has no real point. I also hope it’s “Awesome!” rather than just lame.
