The nominations for the fan-voted CMT Awards (airing April 14, hosted by Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus) are in. Brad Paisley’s "Online" earned multiple nods, including one for Comedy Video of the Year, which I think they should just hand the man now. Seinfeld‘s Jason Alexander directed and stars in the video, which also features appearances by William Shatner and PopWatch fave Maureen McCormick. She told me she jumped at the chance to play Alexander’s love interest because she’s always thought he was sexy. Oh, Mo.
Take a look at the four nominated videos below (three after the jump), and tell me if Paisley doesn’t have this category sewn up.
Brad Paisley’s "Online"
Blake Shelton’s "The More I Drink"
Trace Adkins’ "I Got My Game On"
Toby Keith’s "High Maintenance Woman"

It’s Brad all the way! Whether it’s a song about being cooler online or drinking one’s self to death, Brad’s videos are consistently good. I’m a huge fan!
Definately Brad!
How can the “Long Trip Alone” video by Dierks Bentley not be nominated for anything? The man sacrificed his beautiful hair for it and everything! I’m very dissappointed!
I really like Brad’s video! Some trivia: Brad sings the vocals on one of the tracks on William Shatner’s album, “Has Been”. [Bill speaks his part, but Brad adds the melody.] Maybe this was a “return the favor” kinda think. Incidentally, “Has Been” is a GREAT album. [It's produced by Ben Folds.]
Brad’s video is supposed to be funny??? I think Jason Alexander is just a jerk and not funny at all.
