Who the heck would they get to fill out this cast?
I think it’s a great idea, IF they don’t try to recreate the original with updated dialogue and that’s it. I’d like to see the concept remade, where five teenagers who would never normally even talk to each other are forced to spend a day and end up connecting and realising that they have more in common than they think. Don’t you think the Columbine generation could benefit from a well made Breakfast Club of their own?
But it shouldn’t try to be the original. That will end up lamer than lame.
I think they should wait another twenty years before thinking about that. Why would they remake a movie that’s still new enough for people to remember it?
