Is that an Iron Man in your pocket, or are you just really happy to see the full trailer?
This is one of the few movies wherein the more I see of it, the more I want to see it. And the comics hordes should be pleased, as Tony Stark is the smug, self-righteous boozer we’ve all come to know and love. (Or loathe, depending on how you feel about his role in Marvel’s big Civil War event.) And Robert Downey Jr. is working it.What more could you want from a trailer for a big summer action flick? A sense of humor, big superheroic action, and a little Black Sabbath… I’m sold. What about you?

Yeah…just when I think I’ve reached my saturation point with comic book adaptations. Favreau, Downey and Bridges are inspired choices for this picture, giving this genre a necessary, uh, boost. See you in line.
I love the idea of Terrence Howard as Jim Rhodes. Rhodes had a great turn as Iron Man, which means the sequel might feature Howard in the role as well. Iron Man’s one of my favorite Marvel heroes, and IMHO his problems with booze make the character seem more real. Without a doubt, I’ll be standing in line outside the Uptown theater for a midnight screening of this movie!
This movie just keeps looking BETTER and BETTER!! It has quickly become my most anticipated movie of the summer. I LOVED Batman Begins, and I am super stoked for The Dark Knight, but I feel like expectations on that one are so high, that it has a better chance of not living up to the hype. Whereas with Iron Man, I think people will be pleasantly surprised, especially since the average movie goer (ie. not us die-hard comic-book lovers) probably doesn’t have such high expectations. Robert Downey Jr. is probably the best-cast superhero yet, and this movie looks amazing!!! CANNOT WAIT!
I don’t know a darn thing about Iron Man, but the trailer looks really effin’ cool. Also, Robert Downey Jr ftw. So I’m stoked and hoping this doesn’t turn out to be YET ANOTHER horribly disappointing superhero movie, given Marvel’s utter disregard for, um, quality control.
i totally came here to bash on the trailer, cause the previous one looked cheesy… but this look fRACKING AWESOME!
I usually avoid big budget summer blockbusters now like the plague, but Robert Downy Jr’s performance actually makes this look good, as did Christian Bale for BATMAN BEGINS. So perhaps I’ll give IRON MAN a shot…perhaps.

I am not a fan of comic books. But I love, LOVE Robert Downey Jr and I can’t wait for this movie ! Oh, yeah, the music’s great, too !

I am so excited to see this! I’ve never known much about “Iron Man.” I’ve always been more of Batman kind of girl, but the trailer looks fantastic & I love the amazingly talented Robert Downey, Jr. I can’t wait!!!

Thank GOD. I was almost thinking about NOT seeing this after that godawful first trailer. Just one line from Sabbath is the most you can use without being cornball. I DIG the Audioslave though, and I love Robert Downey Jr. Looking forward to it!
My husband is a comic book artist who complains about every single comic book movie being wrong–but he’s dying to see this one based on the trailers.

I am in total agreement the more I see the more I wan t to see the movie. I love seeing Robert Downey Jr. he seems such a natural fit or this role .I’ll be there opening weekend for this one .
My husband is getting a big kick out of how excited I am for this movie. He says, “It’s a superhero movie – you never get excited about those.” And I say, “It’s a superhero movie with Robert Downey Jr. in it. That is the difference!” It is going to be great, I know it!
I’m not really a comic book person, but I’m kind of geeking out about this movie, as is my husband. I think this one and the new Indy movie will both merit all-too rare in-theater viewings.

I watch the trailer 5 times a day. It’s addicting. I am stoked to see this. I used to read the comics slightly while I was a child (my brothers had a large collection). Plus RDJ’s acting is ALWAYS dead on perfect.
