Movie: The Darjeeling Limited. Even though they are more excentric than most of us, Wes Anderson has a special and real way of expressing family bond. If you have brothers or sisters, you’ll get it! “I wonder if the three of us would’ve been friends in real life. Not as brothers, but as people”
Music: Once, the soundtrack. I just can’t get enough!
Justice League: The New Frontier. A great comic miniseries about the Golden Age adapted to film with voices like David Boreanaz, Lucy Lawless, and Jeremy Sisto.
1. IMDB’ing Gary Busey
2. LeftHandedToons (http://www.lefthandedtoons.com)
3. Pussycat Dolls Girlicious (on the guilty pleasure front)
1. Eric Clapton
2. Steve Winwood
3. Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood’s full-fledged reunion trifecta at Madison Square Garden.
Reunion concerts come with a boatload of expectation. But Eric and Steve not only survive but flourish under that circumstance because they are premium musicians. Whip out that DVD of the show, guys!
Law & Order: I started watching this season because of the addition of Jeremy Sisto and am now infatuated with Linus Roache’s character. Executive Assistant D.A. Michael Cutter is bold, wry, and so clever. I only wish I had such an audacious personality.
1. Torchwood. Now that Martha Jones has arrived on the scene it seems like Capt. Jack and the gang have finally realized that they are supposed to stop evil, not shag it.

Sports Night on DVD.
Silver age Ryan, not golden age. If you are going to put something out there, know what you are talking about.

-The TRAINWRECK that is Big Brother 9 Showtime after dark –dirty stuff (The most religious girl “I love bikinis, coffee and god” is doing and saying the most unspeakable things…
Darwyn, actually it’s about both. It serves as a bridge between the Golden Age and the Silver Age.
1. In Bruges – this movie is hilarious, mostly in part to Colin Farrell hidden comedic chops.
2. Season 4 of Lost! The greatest show ever!
3. Roger Ebert’s Overlooked DVD of the Week articles. This week it is The Deep End with newly awarded Tilda Swinton. I have found a lot of gems because of these articles. (they can be found on his website, http://www.rogerebert.com)
The First 48 on A&E.. so, so addictive. I can’t think of anything else.
StuffWhitePeopleLike.com — Satire wizardry that’s become a daily stop. One of the funniest sites I’ve seen in a while.
Adele – Chasing Pavements – The next Winehouse? Maybe not, but this song is definitely a nice one.
The Roots – 75 Bars — Black Thought is back and wants you to know he ain’t a sucka mc.
Boston Public re-runs on TVOne. Special shout out to Karen from “The Office” before she was Karen from “The Office.”
Vampire Weekend — yeah, still.
The Cool Kids – “The new black verison of The Beastie Boys … ” are cooler than you and most of the other rappers out there.
I’m F’in Ben Affleck. Josh Groban kills it.
Mike Oz

TV – Lost continues to spellbind.
tv: Lost, P-Runs, Free Radio
dvd: La Vie En Rose (Marion Cotillard is the real deal!), BBC’s State of Play, Extras -The Extra Special Series Finale
reading: Flannery O’Connor’s Everything That Rises Must Converge
internetting: DListed, Jezebel
My latest internet craze: Garfield Minus Garfield. What happens when you remove the titular character from a comic? It get existential!

SNL’s triumphant post-strike return: Kristen Wiig’s “FACE TIME!”, Tina Fey’s “B!tch is the new black”, Mike Huckabee, Amy Poehler as the crazy old Six Flags man, the milkshake song, and (saving the best for last) Annuale!!!
1) The return of SNL. Tina Fey hosted the return episode, which reminded us all just how much SNL was missed. Now let’s hope Ellen Page doesn’t lead SNL into a sophomore slump!
2) The Academy of Arts and Sciences adding a category for Best Reality show host. Finally, the Ryan Seacrest / Jeff Probst throwndown I’ve been waiting for!
3) Patrick Stewart in MacBeth. Originally set to close on March 22, the sold-out engagement of MacBeth at BAM is thankfully extending for a limited eight week run on Broadway. Patrick Stewart – not to be missed!

It’s an online novel, it’s only been three weeks but I’m charmed by the concept…too bad it isn’t a gossip site or I’m sure it’d be more popular! Although, I do love dlisted and laineygossip. Good smut.
FILM – “Justice League: The New Frontier” ; City of Men
THE INTERNETS – stage6.com
MUSIC – Janet Jackson’s “Discipline”; Lizz Wright’s “The Orchard”; Mutya Buena’s “B-Boy Baby”; Leona Lewis
NEWS- Barack Obama; The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric; Porn Star Twins/Robbery Spree Suspects Keyontyli and Taleon Goffney (Google if you must)
TELEVISION – Guiding Light’s revolutionary new production model; A Raisin in the Sun; the final episodes of The Wire; and, of course, Lost
1. American Idol on Itunes!!
2. Isla Fisher in Definitely, Maybe. She’s gorgeous, sweet, and has great comedic timing!
The Hansard & Irglova Oscar acceptance speeches. I just can’t stop watching them over and over on youtube. *sigh*
Danny Noriega on American Idol. FIERCE. Ish.
The photo leaked today of WOLVERINE, and this incredible cast that seems to include Liev Schreiber, Dominic Monaghan, Taylor Kitsch…and Michael C. Hall? Wow.
Sunshine – This movie quite simply blows my mind.
ANTM (both Slezak’s skits and the show itself!)
The coolness that is Doc Jensen. I don’t know if I could understand Lost without him.
I’m loving that American Idol performances are available on Itunes. Video game-wise, all love goes to Call of Duty 4 which has finally cured me of my hatred for the FPS genre AND tv show wise I’m still loving this “breaking bad” series. Who knew that a dentist who became Jewish for the jokes could also make Crystal Meth?
Just found a hilarious video mixing “There Will Be Blood” and the “very special” oil episode of “Saved by the Bell”. All I can say is: awesome…
And of course I forgot the link, here it is:
