Even if you’re not stuck at work in snowy New York City, you can still play along, I’m sure. At this moment… I could really go for a Grumpy Old Men double feature. I suppose this fuzzy montage of Burgess Meredith’s finest (foul-mouthed) moments from the films will have to do.

Hands down…Home Alone 1 & 2.
I would love a Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz double feature right about now.
Mandi, I second the Grumpy Old Men double feature. I love those movies!!!
To Nose: Count me in for those!!
I don’t know why but I could watch Father of the Bride…
Martian Child…because I’ve really wanted to see it and I can now (finally!) rent it off of the DVR. Or, Across the Universe because I’m obsessed with the soundtrack, and I wouldn’t mind watching the movie again!!
I’m on a Daniel Day-Lewis kick, so I’d love to be watching The Age of Innocence right now. A tortured forbidden love-struck Day-Lewis? I’m in.
I would love to be watching the conclusion to the A&E mini-series Pride and Prejudice — I haven’t seen it before, and can’t wait for this Sunday night when they finish it on PBS! It has been great so far!
I’d rather be at work than have to watch Across the Universe again.
The first thing that came to mind was not a movie, but a TV show. Today would be a great day to settle in with an “In Treatment” marathon. And maybe some hot chocolate. With Baileys. Unfortunately, I left for my parents’ house before the mail showed up, so I am currently Netflixless (“Happiness” and “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” will be waiting for me when I get back).
I’m in the mood for a little vintage Bacon. He Said/She Said or She’s Having a Baby would do me good right now. The kids though just decided amongst themselves for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and I’m okay with that too.
I would love to be home right now watching “On The Waterfront.” I love early Marlon Brando movies.
today is such a day for a “bring it on” marathon!
I’m in the mood for Goodfellas right now. The job’s feeling all complicated and making me yearn for an easy gig. The first half of the movie makes “mobster” seem like an appealing career. After a few hoots and hollers, the second half brings me back to reality and reminds me that as bad as my job is, it’s not likely to end me up in prison or with a bullet to the back of the head. Though i’d love to have Joe Pesci as a coworker.
When Harry Met Sally…. Always When Harry Met Sally…
I miss those holiday-themed movies Lifetime was airing back-to-back-to-back-to-back-infinity in December. Because watching B-listers fall in love while ice skating is my fave way to spend a slush (cuz it’s already slush)-filled day.
