Will Ferrell, who knows a thing or two about viral Web promotion, sure is plugging the heck out of Semi-Pro (opens Feb. 29), and his goofy new b-baller character, Jackie Moon, online. (See "viral" stunts here and here.) Now, Moon and his white-man’s-Afro have even muscled their way into the brand new Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. (SI, EW.com, and Semi-Pro studio New Line are all part of Time Warner.) Here’s Jackie and good sport Heidi Klum, who’s probably thinking that his is a look so unfortunate that even Tim Gunn couldn’t make it work. Why is Heidi Klum allowed to look like that after bearing children? Karma? She better have been some sort of poverty stricken orphanage den mother with a thyroid problem in her last life.

Might have wanted to put a NSFW notice on that SI link — maybe it goes without saying since it’s supposed to be a swimsuit issue, but I certainly wasn’t expecting a LARGE picture of a woman with her bra almost falling off (and not one of the swimsuit variety). Not that I don’t appreciate the picture, but can’t really enjoy it at work.

Gotta say that I’m a little disappointed in EW’s including this on its site. Keep in mind that not everyone supports the objectification of women. (And the other comments illustrate this–who the heck cares whether Heidi Klum has cellulite? What business is it of yours? And if she does, why is it so necessary to photoshop it out?)
gotta say if your pissing&moaning about “the objectification of women” and a supermodel’s photoshopped butt you’re probably old fat and/or bitter. maybe if you are offended by such things you should try NOT hitting the link that says “for more of the swimsuit issue click here”. you may find yourself considerably less outraged (but you would probably just seek out something else to complain about.) some women enjoy being desirable. P.S.-NEWSFLASH!!!-the swimsuits are for sale and bikinis seldom look good on fat people. speedos too guys.
Women (or men for that matter)shown in any stage of dress is not objectification they are pictures of beauty. The human body is a beautiful masterpiece that should be celebrated and not hidden from the world, even with its imperfections as we all know everyone has them. Our bodies are amazing and should continue to be celebrated irregardless of imperfection not hidden away in shame, maybe then our children will stop harming and loathing themselves.
Putting Will Ferrell in the swim suit edition is not going to increase sales… if anything it will decrease sales… Please just have the models with themselves or each other… Keep Will Ferrell out…
Why is Ferrell a movie star?
This gimp is a one note actor: he plays the same goddamn character in every single movie he stars in.
And ENOUGH withthe sports-themed flicks! What’s next? Rugby?
