Note to ABC: You should visit the NY Giants, they have some of the cutest guys I have ever seen and I am sure they are bachelors.Are Burress and Tyree married? If they’re single, they are ready for the hunt.
I think my favorite part of the ad is “I’m here…to steal your women” because new bachelor is almost unable to get those words out. Sadly, this is the best news I have heard all day–counting down the moments until the Bachelor returns and we get more PopWatch recaps.
You will never see a nonwhite Bachelor. This late into the show’s run, it’s obvious that they are excluding minorities on purpose.
Jesse Palmer WAS on the Giants. I can’t believe these shows still draw ratings.
I just hope they bring back Age of Love, even if the sister WAS Poo’s first castaway.
Regarding the Bachelor, I have a thought. To be wealthy, good looking, single and still mysteriously unable to find love has got to be some sort of “white people thing”.
I say this as a Latino. Most of my single Latino friends who are also good looking and wealthy are single on purpose. Seriously, what kind of a guy is good looking, wealthy and yet unable to get some lovin’?
But then again, most politicians have proven that you don’t even need looks to get the chicas. So what’s the deal? Where ARE all these desperate money men coming from? And if these wealthy studs can’t get a good woman, what hope is there for the rest of the single men who aren’t wealthy or good looking?
Have not watched this show in years and I don’t think I have missed a thing. At least other reality tv shows have a cast of characters from different backgrounds. Bet you that 90% of the ladies vying for this Bachelor will be Caucasian.
I could probably care less but I’m not sure how.
On these very message boards, I’ve wandered aloud how and why this show is still on (and may have even called for its cancellation once or twice).
This is just another reason why. Honestly, would it absolutely kill ABC to cast a black, or Latino,(or black AND Latino…hello ladies) or Asian bachelor? I’m not saying that a person of color wouldn’t be as vacant and shameless as the bland white guys they’ve been getting, but we’ll never know if they don’t get a chance.

You’re expecting racial diversity from The Bachelor, of all shows? Sure, and while they’re at it, maybe they can cast some women who have other things going on in their lives besides a pathetic desire to be married to whatever guy happens to come along.
Seriously, any segment of the population that ISN’T represented on this show should consider themselves fortunate.

The Bachelor is pure cheese anyway. There should be a lot more diversity.
I find it hysterical that this show is STILL on the air & I’m shamed to admit that I’ve had a huge crush on almost all the past bachelors, BUT I’m sure that if I actually watched the show that would NOT be the case. I’ve never watched a full episode I just kinda swoon over the dudes from the commercials. I have to agree that diversity at this point is NEVER going to happen & whoever brought up the comment about an Asian bachelor, that would NEVER EVER HAPPEN because MOST (I’m NOT saying ALL) Asian men are kinda forced by their parents to marry other Asian women. Also they would say why pick a Filipino male star over a Japanese guy? etc. (This joke was used on Cashmere Mafia 2 weeks ago on the SAME network!!) No one will admit to it, in the ‘PC’ world we live in today, but sadly, if their was an Asian bachelor, they’d have to make a majority of the sutors be Asian females & ANY network exec would NEVER EVER approve that for primetime viewing. You would see a Gay bachelor season first!
We finally have a President of color… so why can’t The Bachelor follow suit? Or atleast have a 50/50 split for the nationality of the women The Bachelor will be choosing from. I finally stopped watching this show, because the last few women of color seemed uneducated and had some serious character flaws. Are the college educated women of color (like me) refusing to be a part of this fiasco?
