Elliot’s audition never aired, so it wasn’t “forgotten.”

Katharine McPhee, Jennifer Hudson

MARIO VASQUEZ
My two favorites are, by far, Jon Peter Lewis’ Crazy Love and David Cook’s Living on a Prayer.
Most memorable for me:
Clay Aiken, and the start of the big “that voice came out of that person” Idol mania
David Cook, for the hair, the killer voice, and Simon calling him “worthy” and not remembering what he meant by that
Kelly Clarkson, of course
Blake Lewis with his odd little green shirt and spiky hair and beat boxing
Daughtry doing The Letter
Nikko Smith
Definitely Bo Bice should be up here!! And David Cook. 2 incredible auditions right there.
And Bailey Brown!
