While I hate to see bad luck cross Riggins’ path, am I the only one ecstatic to see him get blown off my Lyla? I can’t STAND her – she’s so uncool and Riggins is so cool… I still don’t get that attraction.
THANK YOU! I was thinking the same thing. Great sales speech by Street (I didn’t even notice the product placement at the time) that was effectively RUINED by a commercial for that car. Especially with the “as you just saw on Friday Night Lights” intro. Ugh.
Yes, Annie!! I totally agree with you.
I agree that Chris guy is creepy and I don’t think he is as sqeeky clean as he seems. Love Riggins still waiting for him to catch a break! I love this show!!!
This has been a downer year for the characters. I’m hoping something picks up before the final ep, but I fear that someone is going to die.
If I got everything “my way” on this show, it would probably cause me to feel deflated and cheated… but man, just a little bit of good stuff wouldn’t be a problem! It will be a heartache if the season ends without somebody getting what they ‘should’ get (i.e., Tyra starts to feel good about herself and kisses Landry in front of the entire football team, Julie wises up, Riggins gets some real love and devotion, Street gets a coaching position, etc.)
riggins cooked chicken! he had fresh flowers and lit candles – wish lyla had at least sat down to hear him out. loved the episode.
Ugh- I’ve been waiting for Ken’s review of last night’s episode (2/1) of FNL and it’s still not up. I just had to say something- it was absolutely exceptional. I cried not once but twice- the first time Matt yelling at the coach asking why everyone leaves him. And the second time when Smash was left alone in the locker room after his pep talk to his team and then watching them run off to the field without him. Broke my heart!
This show is flat out brilliant. While I would love just a few more happy endings, the drama of it all – Smash, Saracen and even new girl Jeane – makes it the smartest show on television.
why wasn’t there a recap for this week’s episode? especially with it being the second to last one, you’d think EW would at least get someone else to do it if Ken wasn’t available.
The show on 2/1 has to be in the Top 5 episodes of a tv show that I have ever seen, simply brilliant on all levels. This show and its cast needs to get some Emmy nominations. Without question one of the best show on tv.
Where is this week’s recap? I’ve been looking for it since Saturday morning. Friday’s show was so great. I can’t wait to hear what everyone else thought of it.
