After reading over the Oscar nominations Tuesday, I think I found a glaring mistake. Christian Bale is not mentioned amongst the nominees. Read the full post.

BTW…Christian Bale is definitely 2nd on my list of long-time crushes. I would say it started with “Swing Kids.”
Christian Bale in Empire of the Sun… smoking hot. I could go to prison, I realize…
I’m completely with you on the lack of nominations for Bale’s work from the Academy.
It was kind of the same deal for Johnny Depp for the longest time. He built up an impressive body of work and wasn’t even recognized by the Academy until the freakin’ Pirate movie. Hopefully, when (not if) Christian finally breaks though, the floodgates’ll open and he’ll get multiple nominations ala Depp.
Ewan McGregor! And Robert Sean Leonard (House) ever since Dead Poets Society.
Whoever said Joshua Jackson–me too! I loved him in the Mighty Ducks movies, watched Dawson’s Creek because he was on there, and even now, I still get giddy whenever I see pictures of him.
Topher Grace has been one of my crushes since the first season of That 70s Show. And (sigh) Heath Ledger had me at 10 Things I Hate About You.
Winona Ryder. I thought she was cool and edgy in Beetlejuice, but it wasn’t until Reality Bites that my crush was set in stone. I don’t care if she’s a clepto or not; she’ll always be hot.
Stephanie T – I completely agree with you!
Peter Sarsgaard, Paul Rudd, and Oliver Martinez are all lovely.
*slaps forehead* How could I be so remiss in forgetting Johnny Depp, who I’ve loved since “Edward Scissorhands.” It’s been wonderful and exciting watching his performances over the years.
Also, he’s just so gorgeous.

I’ve had a thing for Christian Bale since I saw him in Little Women when I was in third grade. That was fourteen years ago, so I’m with you on that front!
Also, I’ve had a thing for Ewan McGregor since the eighth grade. Only nine years, but still…
After reading the comment below mine, how could I forget Johnny as well? I’ve loved him since I saw him in Cry Baby, another third grade find.
Cam and Amah,
I have to agree with both of you, Christian Bale just is. This is a man who is a great actor and has a life outside of Hollywood that I don’t think that he cares. I think the awards circuit know that he will never spend months parading the awards circuit hoping that he will win the next one. He will keep working because he is an working actor and is good at what he does.
I have love the man since day and thought that there were several roles he got screwed over (cough-American Psycho-cough)but the man is too zen for that.
I LOVE YOU CHRISTIAN BALE!!!!
I have been a fan ever since I saw Christian in American Psycho and I have loved him ever since! It is a shame that someone with such talent keeps getting overlooked!
Hello! To my mind Christian Bale can be a master in other dimensions… Look at his calling. He probably does not need to collect prizes. The quality of his talent has a great influence to us, movie-goers, and that can be much more valuable than any awards.
I think Christian bale, is just so cute.
he’s good at whatever he does in a motion picture I saw him in little woman
as Laurie at first i thought he was ugly but then he got cutier after that
I diden’t see him in batman begins but
