Anyone who has watched The Beatles Anthology will remember that Ringo feels very strongly about being a musician and performing music. It was probably a huge blow to him to be invited to play his new song, but oh by the way, not the whole song. What difference would a few more seconds have made?
As so many others have said, this is Ringo we’re talking about. He’s an icon and a living legend.

You’re actually right–if he were my favorite singer I’d still admit he’s being petty. Justin Timberlake, for example, can be a jerk to the photogs and I admit it. Hey, I’m young, okay? I like the Liverpool song… but have some class, okay, Ringo?

It’s embarassing to see how many would take up so voraciously for their favorite star’s right to act like a jerk. So what if he was in… OMG! THE BEATLES!? If he were anyone else and not some signpost for aging flower children, you’d probably agree he shouldn’t be acting like that. It’s blind hero worship that makes artists of all levels of talent develop babyish, overblown attitudes like that. Oh, kind of like you posters whining about poor Ringo who didn’t get to sing his song.

Hey guess what? I am watching the Live with Regis and Kelly Show and it’s Great even without a deminishing Starr. It’s their Annual Mothers Day Award day.
By the way, Ringo’s Song(?) sucks.
