What’s on your Must List this week? For my colleague Mike Slezak, it’s these video clips of an adorable polar bear cub. Speaking of polar bears, Bruce Springsteen and some Jersey Girls are braving the winds at a chilly-looking beach in this video for "Girls in Their Summer Clothes," below. (Hat tip to Idolator.) Just released as a single, it’s one of the poppiest-sounding songs Bruce has recorded in ages, and it’s on my list this week.
And you? What are your three unmissable TV shows/albums/books/movies/video games/websites of the week? Send your recommendations by 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, along with your e-mail address, so we can let you know if we decide to include your picks in next week’s issue of EW. And watch this space; I’m sure Slezak has plenty more cute-and-fluffy animal videos for you.

Cute and fluffy rots the intellect. Then again ugly and gross isn’t that great either.
My Must-List choice? I’ll go with “Life After Humans” on History Channel, which was a fascinating look at how quickly nature would “retake” the planet if all of us humans were to suddently disappear. Bonus points for showing Chernobyl, a ghost town, that has been largely overtaken by nature again….fascinating documentary with just enough science to keep things interesting!
Sorry for the threadjack but CNN is reporting that Heath Ledger is dead! WTF?!?!?!
Must have accesory of the week: A Baby. It was reported last week by the Census Beareau that for the first time in over 40 years people had more children than the # of people who’d died that year. In other words, for the first time since the 1940′s, we’ve have positive population growth.
SO, what’s THE pop culture accessory right now? A kid. All the celebs are having babies right now! I’ve jumped on the trend and now Mrs. Sato’s expecting to join the ranks of the ultra hip in August.
Multiplicity: Apocalypse
Christian from Project Runway is awesome. Not only is he like a little pocket elf, he’s also a bad-ass designer.
My web obsession is always Barat & Bereta, a pair of college grads just trying to be funny. This is “MANtage” but all of their vids are pee-your-pants funny!
I only have one obsession this week (and last and probably next week) and that is Love Song by Sara Bareilles. It’s got such a great sound and her voice is just lovely.
Blu-Ray, HD-DVD is dead, it’s now safe to make the HD switch with the format war in its final days.
My musts for this week have been Cloverfield. JJ Abrams is brilliant and I liked how you didn’t exactly figure out what the monster was or where it came from, just knew what people were going through. My second must is Lost season 3. With 9 days to go until Season 4 it has been nice having this refresher and the season finale still shocks me!
– “She-Hulk” by Peter David (MARVEL Comics) – David is a worthy successor to Dan Slott, and the inclusion of a Skrull as a main character hints at some big “Secret Invasion” involvement.
– Brad Leland on “Friday Night Lights” – it wouldn’t have seemed possible a season ago, but Buddy Garrity has become one of Dillon’s most lovable citizens.
– “The Soup” on E! – the E! network’s cult hit rewards longtime viewers with recurring gags (ala “Arrested Development”) and maintains the highest laugh-per-minute ratio on television in these dull, mostly non-scripted strike days.
The current presidential debates – honestly the current crop of nominees has turned me from a channel surfer at the sight of George Stephanopoulos to a political news/analysis hound. There is currently nothing as engrossing, interesting and yes entertaining than the debates have been since Iowa. (Get out there and vote people)
Anderson Cooper 360 correspondent, Erica Hill. She is hilarious. I love the interplay between her and Anderson, especially in the “What Were They Thinking?” segments. Her facial expressions are priceless.

Alan Sepinwall’s (sepinwall.blogspot.com) Strike Survival TV Club re-watching of Cupid, Rob Thomas’ quirky comedy and pre-cursor to Veronica Mars. The chemistry between Jeremy Piven and Paula Marshall’s is amazing. Another example of a show canceled too early.
The recently Oscar nominated song “Falling Slowly” from the incredible soundtrack to Once.
