Last night, I was watching a screener of Hallmark Channel’s upcoming original movie Bridal Fever, starring Rescue Me’s Andrea Roth, and it made me miss Gilmore Girls‘ Lauren Graham. Why? Because I’ve always — and by that, I mean since last night — thought that Lauren Graham and Andrea Roth (pictured right) need to play sisters on TV. Seriously, look at them. (Especially you writers working on a project for Graham to headline on NBC after the strike. Remember, she signed a development deal with the Peacock last fall.) My pitch: Lauren plays the smart, funny sister. Andrea plays the smart, slightly serious sister. Both have fabulous hair and men trouble. Now go, Hollywood, go!
To that end: Bob Saget once told me that he thought he and Stephen Colbert should play brothers in something. What other sibling combinations would you want to see?

Johnny Depp and Daniel-Day Lewis would be perfectly cast as brothers!!
I’ve always thought that James McAvoy (http://imdb.com/name/nm0564215/) and Gregory Smith (http://imdb.com/name/nm0564215/) looked freakishly similar (I even operated under the assumption they were the same person for awhile). I could totally see them playing siblings in a film.
Tom Cruise and Ben Stiller should — oh, wait.
Anyway… It’s not siblings, but Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Hartnett would work perfectly as father and son (or Hartnett playing a young Jones).
Looking at that photo of Andrea Roth makes me think she could perfectly play the sister of Heather Locklear.
I really don’t see the resemblance. If anything, I agree that Andrea Roth looks like Heather Locklear.

So neither of them are actresses, but I totally can’t tell the difference between Kim Kardashian and Nicole Sherzinger. They could definitely play sisters.
for years — okay: like, a week — I thought pamela adlon (the wife on “lucky louie,” which I hated with a fiery passion for replacing “the comeback”) and constance zimmer (dana gordon on “entourage”) were the same person. they could def play sisters, and rashida jones would play their half-black half-sister…and leah remini would be their funny blue-collar cousin…okay, that’s enough.

I always thought Lauren Graham and Jenna Elfman could play sisters. And I definitely agree that Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Pepper’s drummer) and Will Ferrell could pass as brothers. Good call!

I think “Gossip Girl”’s Blake Lively bears a really uncanny resemblance to Ellen Pompeo, who in turn is reminiscent of Renee Zellweger.

I’m not saying they look the same, necessarily, but I think Angelina Jolie & Keira Knightly could pull off a believable family tie. Also, Charlize Theron looks like Katherine Heigl’s older sister and Angie Harmon & Sandra Bullock could belong to the same family, as well.

I always wanted to see Bruce Campbell show up on Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Xander’s Uncle Rory. Of course, Xander’s actor (Nicholas Brendon)already has an identical twin brother, so that’s just more opportunity to expand the family, right?
