I liked this episode…didn’t love it but liked it a lot. Thank you for recognizing just how complex Eric Taylor is. Instead if being the stereotypical Texas high school football coach that is a hick….he has many layers and it is so nice that they let us see all of them. The love he has for his family is not only very realistically portrayed, but it is refreshing to see on TV. I am baffled why Kyle Chandler cannot even get a nomination…for anything. And how NBC sits back and stores this show on Friday nights during this strike instead of showcasing it makes me want to vomit. I think people are getting turned off by critics and other fans pushing it down their throats. Why not give people the opportunity to judge for themselves and have on a descent night?? grrrrrr. If NBC pulls the plug on FNL…it will be a huge mistake!!!!!!!

Life impeded on my television viewing over the last few weeks, so I just caught up on the two new eps of the year. Just wanted to jump on the bandwagon with the rest of you posting here: Coach really showed us what he’s made of, and KC, your lack of awards is astounding to me; NBC reach new depths with the absolute idiocy surrounding your handling of this show; and Tim- you break my heart! Can’t wait for tonight.

These last few shows (since the Landry mess finally ended) have been amazing. Since the strike started, so many of my friends have gone ahead and bought season 1 — and they love it. FNL is a word-of-mouth show and I really hope NBC realizes that and gives it time to grow. Best show on television. By Far.
