Looking at the two images to the left, of Edward Norton and Robert Downey Jr., two things struck me:
1) I can’t wait for The Hulk and Iron Man. I’m really digging this whole talented-thespians-in-superhero-movies trend.
2) Apparently, Marvel superheroes are prone to wearing wifebeaters when making quasi-scientific advances.
‘Nuff said.

Thanks for sending me home with those gorgeous images of Messrs. Norton and Downey. Mmmm…
Edward Norton is so hot, I could watch him in anything. Ugh, I just love him. So talented and mysterious, I love that!
This look had been brought to us a long time ago with Ryan Atwood (Benjamin McKenzie) in The OC. . . He is the best looking superhero in a wife beater. The wifebeater was his signature outfit!!!!
Edward Norton. Wifebeater. Mmmmmmm.
you can put these two in as little as possible on screen and i’ll be just fine.
Thank you for MAKING my Friday. Especially Edward Norton…my love for him began with Fight Club (wifebeater) and continued through The Painted Veil (wifebeater!).
Seriously, he could read the phone book (preferably in a wifebeater) and I’d go see it.
Robert Downey Jr. ain’t lookin’ so bad either.
Jaime means Kid Chino with his fists of fury. but yes, exactly.
Downey not so much, but I have a giant crush on Edward Norton. That said, he should put a real shirt of. Wifebeaters are gross.
Er, “on”, not “of”
That picture of Edward Norton is my new wallpaper. Downey wasn’t so bad himself. What the hell was the topic again?
I prefer Edward Norton without the muscles and with blond hair. Those things made “Keeping the Faith” and “Red Dragon” worth it.
Thank you Nix. . .so right!!!!
Both of them look positively delicious.

Uh,who cares about what these guys look like in wifebeaters? Don’t you goofy broads want to see how/if Downey and Norton can pull off being superheroes? I think Downey could make a convincing Tony Stark/Iron Man but Norton as Bruce Banner? It’s as miscast a role as Eric Bana was for the Hulk movie.
See that ladies? THAT’S how you talk about superhero flicks, not about what they’re wearing.
Goofy broads….
speaking of which, Marty Crandall from the Shins just got arrested for beating up his girlfriend: http://rawkblog.blogspot.com/2008/01/shins-marty-crandall-arrested.html
I don’t really care about all that stuff. I just hope the movies are good.
Props for not casting young, WB kids like DC wants to do for the Justice League movie. But I think a Hulk do-over is an insult to everyone who worked hard on the first movie.
Will there be more do-overs in the future? Anytime a movie does poorly, will a studio want a do-over? Where will it end? If they need to remake something, they need to remake ALI, with Terrance Howard. He’d be better than whatever Will Smith was doing.
Maybe they should do-over the Golden Compass, right?
This is all a big mistake
The symbolism of the wifebeater in movies would make an interesting thesis. Probably already been done. “Iron Man” looks pretty awesome – I’ve been running around saying “I am Iron Man” and annoying my husband since the trailer came out – but I’m not sure about the new Hulk. Old disappointments die hard.
What’s with the name calling? Maybe your just jealous because no one would want you, whether you were in a wifebeater or not? You probably have a small pecker, too…..
Edward Norton is a great actor and hot
Yay! I can’t wait for these two movies, Hulk especially
Who is the most convincing on-screen superhero?
With Iron Man, Dark Knight and Watchmen all on their way to the cinemas this is a good time for comic book fans to be going to the movies. But bringing comic book heroes to the screen isn’t easy. Many
