The piece of toast on this t-shirt is:
A) slathering his body with jam as a way to entice humans to eat him
B) slathering his body with jam as preparation for a terrifying yet yummy act of self-cannibalism
C) slathering his body with jam as an effort to tease hungry New Year’s dieters before playfully scampering away
D) ineligible for Entertainment Weekly’s Must List page
I can’t really speak about the first three options on this quiz, as the t-shirt in question — available at threadless.com, and coincidentally one of my favorite things I got this year for Christmas — is open to interpretation, but option D is a sad, unyielding truth.
So what, in fact, constitutes a Must List-worthy item? Well, generally speaking, your favorite TV shows/albums/books/movies/video games/websites right this very minute. So please send us up to three suggestions for what you’d like to see on the Must List in next week’s issue of EW; be sure to post your ideas before 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, and make sure to include your email address (which we’ll need to contact you if your submission is chosen). You’ll be the toast (sorry!) of the town!

The Wire! The Wire is back and I don’t know whether to loudly cheer or start crying because it’s almost over. The best show on television will be much enjoyed and very, very much missed!
The Comics Curmudgeon (www.joshreads.com). Hilarious daily takes on all that is annoying, unfunny and/or insane in the comics. Who knew that Mary Worth could actually be made entertaining?
I love threadless! I actually have a whole bunch of shirts from there. But my must list?
Right now, Supernatural. I’ve watched the first two seasons online in about three or four days, and am now working my way through the first eight episodes of season three so when the new episodes air, I can watch it live.
Also, Chuck. Not only do I love the show Chuck, but my boyfriend, who hates tv because he feels it is a waste of time, loves it. Thank god he likes to watch one of my shows.
I’m voting for a repeat: Dexter Season 1. It was under my tree this Christmas and it took me less than a week to watch it all. I’m dying for Dexter Season 2 now. Or maybe I should just subscribe to the premium channels for once.
The Juno soundtrack is my top pick.
BLU-RAY (cuz it’s the absolute best way to watch movies at home)
Radiohead – In Rainbows (now available in stores, not just online)
Sweeney Todd – So much blood, but such a cool flick.
(pretty good)fake irish accents in ps i love you by gerard butler (scottish) and jeffrey dean morgan (american). they look pretty good too
late night is back!!
friday night lights returns (for now)
1) The return of Lost – It can’t come fast enough for its fans.
2) Juno – Ellen Page plays a teen so real that it is as if Angela Chase got knocked up and all other teens are fake.
3) Booster Gold – DC Comics and Geoff Johns recreates this character as a time cop who becomes the greatest hero no one knows in this monthly series.
I second a vote for the “Juno” soundtrack. Fantastic!
Can I also throw a nomination out there to the trio of women who played Briony in “Atonement”? Saoirse Ronan, Romola Garai and Vanessa Redgrave were all magnificent in this movie, especially since none were really the lead Briony, they had to make the transition between the three of them seamlessly work and it really did.
1. sweeney todd – best film of 07
2. thecheappop.com – best site of 07
3. radiohead in rainbows- best cd of 07
Bender’s Big Score – It’s Futuramic!
Blade Runner Collector’s Edition DVD set. – ’nuff said
3 CD Blade Runner 25th Anniversary Soundtrack by Vangelis – still no full version of the Main Title music, but way better than any of the numerous bootlegs.
Alex Ross’ overview of 20th Century music, The Rest Is Noise. A great, accessible, and smart book about music.
This is an old one, but I hope people seek this movie out: ‘Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead’.
It’s amazing to see that Sidney Lumet is still on top of his game.
Letterman!!!! Not only is he brilliantly funny, but he’s brilliantly business savy to negotiate around the WGA strike.
Fave cd of 2007? Sara Bareilles’ Little Voice. Grade A from start to finish…not a klinker in the bunch.
Best movie is definitely Juno. With a stellar breakthrough performance by Ellen Page.
