According to a new survey (cited by The Hollywood Reporter), 38 percent of people watch TV shows online. This seems like:
a) news that the WGA might be interested in.
b) an opportunity for me to post about how annoyed I am that Boston Legal (starring James Spader and William Shatner, pictured) isn’t among the shows with full episodes on abc.com.
c) a good time for you to whine about the shows you’d like to see online, too.
Have at it.

Battlestar Galactica. Or, you know, they could release Season 3 on DVD. That would be swell. It’s only been, what, 9 months since the last episode aired? Thanks.
I recently got into The Office. I watched this season on tv. Rented Season 1 and 2 with my FREE movie rentals but Season 3 is still on the new release list so it would cost me to see them so I will wait. NBC should put the entire series on line for free to watch. (At least last time I checked it had not). Also, Rome Season 2.
My only wish: put the entire current season online. (Hello, ABC!) With the writer’s strike upon us, I like to use this time to try out new shows. NBC puts the entire current season online, while ABC only puts the past couple episodes. I’d like to watch new shows, but I don’t want to start in the middle of season. Thanks to NBC, I was able to see Life and Chuck. Loved them both!
how about The Amazing Race. CBS has Survivor and Kid Nation on there, not to mention The Big Bang Theory. So why not their emmy winning reality show?

I’m with you Lynn. I am DYING to watch the “Pie-Lette” ep of Pushing Daisies, but cannot locate it on ABC’s website. GAH. I am having withdrawal.
I want Without A Trace…but I am so glad NBC put on the Quarterlife.
Maybe I’m just a glutton for punishment, but I’d watch good ol’ e.r. if it were online. Definitely more full seasons, because if it’s not up legally, we have to watch it illegally.
I also wish there were more Hulu-like sources for old tv. I just caught up on poor FOXed after 2 episodes “Kitchen Confidential”. I love using the internet like a dvd box set.
Project Runway!
I agree with the Amazing Race suggestion. Also, Criminal Minds, Jeopardy, the Singing Bee, 20/20 or Nightline, and Eastenders.
Yes! Battlestar Galactica! I’ve only watched that show on DVD, and trying to dodge the spoilers while a full season behind is impossible. Sci-Fi shows occasional reruns, but they are out of order and inconsistent!! I really wanted to catch up on season 3 before season 4 started on TV. Why did they push back the DVD release so far?
The one at the top of my list is E.R. If the network wants more viewers and wants to keep it around for several more years, they should open it up.
Also, I agree with the comment about putting an entire year available online. CBS only has 4 available shows at once. ABC used to have the whole season, but only has a number of episodes available.
Many of the shows you guys listed can be found on Hulu.com (Unfortunatly it is in Beta Testing and you need to be selected to test it out). I have been using it for a few weeks and have been extremely impressed… so sign up for the testing or keep a look out for it.

Hulu’s cool, but check out fancast.com too. It has more than just the NBC and Fox stuff.
Smallville! It’s not even available for purchase on iTunes! If I miss it, there’s no other way to get it.
I agree with earlier postings that they should put up earlier episodes. I want to catch up Dirty Sexy Money which abc doesn’t seem to want me to do.
I also don’t get Bravo and have been having issues finding this season of Project Runway online (free and legally without me having to download a program)
CBS has royally shafted fans of The Amazing Race this season by programming it on Sundays. There’s almost always a football game that bumps the show late, which means those of us who DVR or Tivo it regularly miss the ending, including that show’s elimination. And yet CBS still doesn’t offer the episodes online to compensate for this massive and repeated blunder.
Project Runway!!!
take shows that don’t show big TV ratings and put THEM on-line. market to a whole new fan base. things like journeyman (which nbc has failed to pick up to finish its season) would do great on-line. there are now full episodes there, but continue the season on-line, even if you don’t put it in your prime time line up.
Criminal Minds!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes to Boston Legal.
If all episodes of Dirty Sexy Money and Pushing Daisies were online, I’d probably check those out.
Weeds, Project Runway/Top Chef, and everything on HBO. (They don’t even sell episodes on iTunes, that’s a missed opportunity that’s costing them at least a few mill…)
Two words: MAD MEN.
i would like to have all the Star Trek incarnations and “Century City”
I’m one of those 38% and HOW, I watched 99.9 percent of my TV – ONLINE. and i think the sci-fi channel should totally, completely air on-line as well. I mean, they’re the sci-fi channel for godsakes. How could they not be on the wave of the… I would say future, but this is so now, it’s almost PAST.
Ghost Whisperer!
I agree 100% with PJ’s comment on The Amazing Race. Given the weekly postponed showings due to football, putting it online would seem to be a no-brainer for CBS. But they haven’t, and as a result, my interest in the show has declined. I watch 95% of the television shows I watch online. Being able to catch up online got me hooked on Heroes and Brothers and Sisters last season. ABC used to leave the whole season up — I wish they’d go back to that.
I agree with the Amazing Race suggestions, especially since it almost never plays on time because of football and I never set my DVR to record Cold Case afterwards
Women’s Murder Club!….
*crickets*
am I the only one who watches that??
