This is without a doubt one of the best reality shows I have ever seen. The only reason I intended to watch episode 1 of Kid Nation was because of all the criticism I was seeing about the show in the media, but on the contrary, I am anything but critical towards Kid Nation.
Not only was Kid Nation entertaining, but it had a MESSAGE. It’s great to see that there are so many caring, intelligent, strong children in our world today, and it’s ever more amazing to see those who have good hearts and intelligence to be rewarded for doing good.
This show has been inspiring for me, and although I am an adult, many of these children make me want to reevaluate my work ethic and how I treat others.
I have looked forward to this show every Wednesday and am sad that it is over. I hope that season two is just as good and I will be anxiously waiting to see it!

Thanks for sticking with the show, and us, with this blog Alynda (not to mention your “What to Watch” every week…love it!). I sobbed like a child for the last half hour of this durn show…and feel no shame whatsoever!
Best of luck to all of you, Pioneers.
