Love the 30 Rock nods, hate all the missing FNL nods. Seriously no Connie Britton? What does that girl need to do? Is she the Lauren Graham of Drama series?
Awards and the fervor they cause crack me up. They mean nothing. How can you say someone is better when they are not doing the same thing? There is nothing quantifiable here. I don’t care who is nominated or who wins.
Californication? That show is so terrible!
I want some Kristen Cheno love and Chi McBride love! They steal every scene they are in with Anna and Lee. Why Katherine Heigle every time though? Chandra was robbed again.
It is nice to see Dexter getting some attention though!
No Lost! Seriously! Elizabeth Mitchell…Hell, she is even brilliant in the webisodes!

Todd, they announced that it was Walk Hard not Hairspray. I’m almost 100% positive that Tarantino said Walk Hard.
PS. How much do the Golden Globes love FX though? It seems just about every show on that network got nominated. It really is the new HBO
Hey everybody, we’re still updating our list of nominees. Our favorite Walker, Rachel Griffiths, was nominated in a supporting category, and “Hairspray” did receive a best picture nod (not “Walk Hard,” though wouldn’t have enjoyed hearing Quentin Tarantino say the full title again).

I watched it and I could have sworn they said “Walk Hard” but the GG website says “Hairspray.” I know I’m not going crazy.
I have to say I think the GG’s overlooked a lot of great performances this year.. I am pretty disappointed. On a good note it’s nice to see some newbies in TV making the list, Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money, Damages. I have to say that Heroes & 24 are two snubs that are warranted both lacked in their respective seasons.
Tommy Lee Jones for No Country for Old Men. Oscars better not snub him!

Once, Waitress and No Country for Old Men were my favorite movies this year… glad one of them got some recognition.
Most of the TV nominations suck, though.
I dont know why everyone is freakin out about the golden globes getting the t.v. nominations wrong- THEY. ALWAYS. DO! until they start splitting up the supporting categories like a normal award show then it wont matter. i dont watch the golden globes for their insight into great television. i watch it for the movie awards… now- as much as i am happy that alot of films that i am rooting for were nominated i am still suprised that Superbad wasnt nominated for Best Comedy, Seth Rogen not nominated for Knocked Up and Across the Universe WAS nominated… strange… also- I was really hoping that John Travolta wouldve been nominated for Best Actor- Musical and have a small chance of winning but now he’s gonna get steamrolled by Javier bardem… so happy Tim Burton is nominated for Director but where is the love for P.T. Anderson’s direction and writing??? Why wasnt Enchanted nominated for Best Comedy (yay amy adams!) why no love for Beowulf for Animated Feature? bee movie sucked!
No nod for Lost or Dexter?!!
And what the hell happened to The Shield????!!! That show is consistently awesome! And no love for Christian Bale, who’s the one of the greatest actors around right now?!
But at least Eastern Promises got a nomination, and Viggo Mortensen too!
