We’ve all been there before: you’re at a party and an R2 unit asks you for the time. Problem is, you don’t speak the language* of astromech droids. Well fear not, this handy site will "translate" phrases from English into R2-ese. No more embarrassing beeps and whistles. This is the nerdiest thing I’ve ever seen…
I’m more interested in translating all the R2D2 phrases from the movies into English. I’ve got a feeling his “mouth” is dirtier than Kenny’s on Southpark.
I can’t wait to see the R2D2/English dictionary at Borders….
And not one bad reference to the horribly bad Star Wars Christmas Special which is now 30 years old..haha…
Isn’t the R2 language similar to one of the aboriginal clicking languages?
