The ones I get roped into watching with my niece… Hannah Montana, Drake & Josh, Naruto, iCarly & Suite Life. Naruto & iCarly are the only ones I can stand. Well, I like Drake & Josh just because it allows me to ogle Drake Bell, even though he’s, evidently, a total sleaze ball.
We love Sabrina the Teenage Witch (the live action one). I’ll watch it on my own when my kids aren’t around.
I love watching the Backyardigans with my four year old. We sing the songs and my husband thinks I’m crazy! Fairly Oddparents can be so funny (especially Cosmo & Wanda) – the best is the Channel Chasers movie.
I can only stand a few episodes of Diego before I have to leave the room & do laundry. He just irritates me after awhile.
Spongebob, however, I will sit and watch when my daughter is napping. I also enjoy Fairly Oddparents and Jimmy Neutron. I have noticed lately in most kids shows that there is actually quite a bit of hidden humor that would go over most kids’ heads. I thank the writers for realizing that the parents have to sit through these shows, too.
did you all forget about naked brothers band…or is it that i am the only parent that watches it!! anyways i think its a great show-really cute and my 5yr old wannabe rockstar just loves it! we have the cd and i’d much rather him listen to that than the crap on the radio. avatar is about the only cartoon i can stand to watch anymore and drake and josh keeps me pretty much entertained with every episode.
How can you not love Sesame Street? The one that was on a few weeks ago with guest Tina Fey, where they were “Book-aneers, the pirates who love to read” was hysterical, almost to a Muppets level of adult humor. We get a kick out of Jimmy Neutron also.
We watch Flight 29 Down at our house – love it! And I enjoy watching Hannah Montana with my 11 year old daughter – but she is now moving over to watching some of the more mainstream shows and is now a huge Project Runway fan!
I love “Wonder Pets.” Yes, I am ashamed. This is sewious!
My daughter is a little young to appreciate TV but I make her watch anyway when I’m on. Funny you mention iCarly because I did an episode a couple months ago and it should be airing in the next few weeks. I’m sure she’s looking forward to watching it!
