I was saddened to hear of Kevin’s passing. He changed my life when his hits “cum on feel the noize” came out while I was in my teens. Because I am hard-of-hearing, his unique voice and the loudness of his band changed my perspective about music. God bless you, Kevin!

One of the greatest Heavy Metal voices of all time. The “Metal Health” album is what got me into Heavy Metal.

I remember this kid on my bus in middle school trying to get me to trade my “Metal Health” tape for his copy of “Stay Hungry”…I totally blew him off. I thought Twisted Sister sucked.

I remember him, Rudy Sarzo and crew on Solid Gold lip synching to “Cum On Feel the Noize” when I was a kid and I thought wow! Little did I know that it was going to be their only huge hit. Still Dubrow took an obscure Slade song and made glam rock/metal chart worthy. Kevin made his mark and became one of the first fathers of pop-metal. And there really was no need for the wig. You can be frizzy hair-balding and still kick-a*s! Bless you Kevin.
